Malang Station

Also known as Malang Kota Baru Station, Malang Station (ML) is one of the main train stations in Malang and its surrounding areas. Originally built in 1941, it was opened in 1879 and was renovated in 2019 due to increased passenger traffic and to conduct further improvements to the premises, such as rearrangements to the parking spaces surrounding the station building.

 

Malang Station, located at Jl. Trunojoyo No.79, Klojen, currently serves both passenger and cargo trains passing through Central Java. Passenger trains that stop at this station include economy and executive class intercity trains and local commuter trains serving the Tumapel and Penataran line, with Surabaya and Blitar as end destinations. Facilities for this station include ticket counters, self-service ticket machines, waiting areas, an ATM gallery, kids’ play area, and a health clinic. Parking spaces for cars, motorcycles, and bicycles are located outside the building.
