About Citilink

Citilink (PT Citilink Indonesia) is a low cost airline, the subsidiary of Garuda Indonesia Airline. This company is established in 2001 as Strategic Business Unit and becomes a new alternative of low-cost airlines since then.  In 30 July. 2012, Citilink officially operate as a separate business entity from Garuda Indonesia after getting the Air Operator Certificate (AOC) and operates with 14 aircraft, with logo, new uniforms and a call sign.

In July 2012, Citilink has served eight domestic destinations which connecting Jakarta to Surabaya, Denpasar, Medan, Banjarmasin, Balikpapan and Batam, also operates flights from Surabaya to Balikpapan, Banjarmasin, Denpasar and Makassar, and flights from Medan to Batam. Then on 15 September 2012, Citilink officially opened a new route Surabaya - Lombok (Lombok International Airport).

Citilink is now serving 17 round routes per day that is divided into 88 frequencies of flights to various cities in Indonesia. As evidence of its success in its commitment to improve service to customers, the subsidiary company of Garuda Indonesia has won several awards, among others by Indonesia Travel and Tourism Foundation for the category of Leading Low Cost Airline 2011/2012, Best Overall Marketing Campaign category at The Budgies and Travel Awards 2012 and most recent award is Service to Care Award 2012 from Markplus Insight.

Citilink now has 27 commercial aircraft consisting of five Airbus A320-210, six Airbus A320-230 aircraft, six Boeing 737-300 aircraft and one Boeing 737-400. The company also ordered 8 Airbus A320 planes-210 to complement the needs of the company.

Class Type of Citilink

Economic or class Promo Citylink has a fairly comfortable standard, available cheap food and drink or souvenirs that you can message.

Passengers are permitted one (1) piece of cabin baggage, which must have a maximum length 56 cm (22 in.), width 45 cm (18 in.) and depth 25 cm (10 in.); however, the sum of the three dimensions shall not exceed 115 cm (45 in.) or weight of 7 kg. Note: Special regulations apply for the transportation of fragile, bulky, valuable and diplomatic baggage in the passenger cabin.

Items carried free of charge in the passenger cabin subject to each passenger’s own supervision and responsibility. These articles are not labeled and may include a handbag, briefcase or laptop bag, overcoat, infants food for consumption during the flight, plus infant carry basket / car seat, or fully collapsible stroller which will be subject to space availability or may be checked in. A fully collapsible wheelchair and or devices for supporting limbs and other specialized equipment to support an incapacitated passenger

Electronic Tickets (E-Ticket): Remember that you must keep a copy of this Electronic Ticket along your journey as Electronic Tickets are required to enter the airport, check in, ticket refunds or exchange tickets.

To enter uhe airport and for check-in purposes, you must indicate this Electronic Ticket along with identification card  issued by the government, such as passport, identity card or ID card Indonesia.

Electronic tickets must be shown along with ID card with photo attached must be shown if passenger need ticket refund or tickets exchange.

If the data in the E-Ticket is different from the existing data on our reservation system, then the reference is the data in the reservation system. Ticket reservation cancellation fee, if any. Contact Reservations and Citilink Ticket Sales for more information. By ordering this ticket, you agree to and accept all the terms and conditions and cancellation rules and exchange tickets.

Our check-in counters open two (2) hours before the scheduled departure time or at least thirty (30) minutes before the scheduled flight departure time. Check-in agreed deadlines may vary at different airports and for particular flights. It is your responsibility to ensure that you comply with the deadlines of the information will be available at the time you make your reservation. In any case, without deviating from the general nature of the other provisions of the Terms and Conditions governing the right of refusal, we reserve the right to not allow you to check-in without any liability to you and without having to refund to you any fare paid:

1. if you try to check in less than thirty (30) minutes before the scheduled departure of your flight;

2. if you fail to have proper identification or fail to identify yourself to our staff;

3. if you fail to have the proper documents, permits, visa, necessary for travel to a particular place or country;

4. if you have not paid any fare or other fees or charges due to us;

5. if you have been violent to our staff or caused disturbance at our counter or have abused our staff whether physically or verbally;

6. if the Government or other authorities prohibits your checking in or get on a plane;

7. if in our judgment, you are not fit to travel due to drunkenness or obvious adverse medical condition, and / or

8. if in our judgment, you are not healthy and fit to travel or your medical condition poses or could pose a danger or threat to the health of other passengers.

9. if in our judgment your are not in appropriate dressing.

Important Notes :

  • Please arrive at the terminal at least 90 minutes before departure time for domestic flight or 2 hours for international flight.
  • Check-in counter will be closed 45 minutes before departure time.
  • Please arrive at the boarding area at least 25 minutes before boarding time.
  • For all departures terminal information can contact the concerned airline call center when an error information is not the responsibility
  • Passenger is allowed to bring a check-in baggage with maximum weight of 20 Kg for domestic flight .
  • Passenger is allowed to bring a carry-on baggage with maximum weight of 7 Kg and maximum size of 56cm x 36 cm x 23 cm.

Refund Policy and Itinerary Changes Policy :

  • If cancellation from Citilink occurred, passenger can contact Citilink Call Center at 0804 1 080808. Passenger can also contact customer service at 021-2963 3600 or email to for a refund by stating:
    - Passenger name.
    - Order ID/Booking Code.
    - Refund percentage that is received from Citilink (If cancellation has been done by contacting Citilink Call Center).
    - Bank account information to be refunded and the name of the bank account holder.
    - For credit card transaction, please state the last 4 digits of the card number and the credit card type (VISA / MASTERCARD).
  • Refund process will take approximately 1 month, starting when the cancellation application is received by customer service.
  • Refund provisions referring to article 10 185 2015 FMD as follows:
    -Returns over the 72 hours before scheduled departure to a refund of 75% of the basic rate / basic fare.
    -Returns under the 72 hours up to 48 hours before scheduled departure to a refund of 50% of the basic rate / basic fare.
    -Returns under the 48 hours up to 24 hours before scheduled departure to a refund of 40% of the basic rate / basic fare.
    -Returns under the 24 hours up to 12 hours before scheduled departure to a refund of 30% of the basic rate / basic fare.
    -Returns under 12 hours up to 4 hours before the scheduled departure time to a refund of 20% of the basic rate / basic fare.
    -Returns under 4 hours until the close checkin (30 minutes before the scheduled departure time) to a refund of 10% of the basic rate / basic fare.
    -Request for refund after the close checkin or departures (No Show) does not get get any refund.
    -Request for refund resulting from errors Citilink, as revise the schedule, flight noops, etc., get a refund of 100% of the basic rate / basic fare.
    -Request for refund resulting from force majeure, subject to the administrative fee amounting to 10% of the basic rate / basic fare.
  • To make changes on the itinerary or passenger information, customer can only visit the nearest Citilink office or directly contact Citilink Call Center. Customer will be charged an administration fee stated by Citilink.
