Lempuyangan Station is one of the two major stations in Yogyakarta. Located on Lempuyangan Street, Bausasram, Danurejan, Yogyakarta, it's about 3 kilometers away from Yogyakarta Station and close to the city center.

 

First opened in 1872 under the name Djocja Lempoejangan, Lempuyangan Station now serves various long-distance departures.

 

Adding to the convenience, Lempuyangan Station is also integrated with the Yogyakarta commuter line and the Joglosemarkerto local train. The station also serves as a stop for various freight trains.
