Preserved on a state-wide level, this incredible village has carefully preserved the culture and nationality of the Yao people, all the way from the Song Dynasty. It's a village of over a thousand households and over 7,000 people, who continue to live life in the tradition of the Yao people. Here, you can witness various day to day behavior from them, and even some ritualistic dances and festivals, such as the Shua Ge Tang or Harvest Celebration, and the Long Drum Dance. As one of China's most carefully protected historical and cultural villages, this is a rare opportunity to witness a culture that calls all the way back to ancient times.
