Public policy
- Every passenger must occupy the seat which is determined during check-in.
- Carry-on baggage must be put in luggage compartment or below the passenger’s seat.
- Cellphones and any electrical devices must be switched off or alter to flight mode, especially during take off and landing.
- Please tighten your seatbelt, fold the table, put your seat upright, and open the window during take off and landing.
- It is against the law and strictly prohibited to smoke anywhere in the aircraft during the flight.
Expectant Mother Policy
- Passengers can book flights as usual until the 29th week of pregnancy, as long as there are no complications or medical problems.
- If the passenger is traveling during or after the 29th week of pregnancy, the passenger must carry a health certificate or a letter signed by a personal doctor or midwife. Passengers may not be accepted on the flight if you travel without them.
- The letter must include
- Confirmation of single or multiple pregnancies
- That there are no complications during pregnancy
- Estimated date of birth
- The last date your doctor expects you to be fit to travel
- A statement that the passenger is in good health
- That no known reason will prevent you from flying
- Passengers cannot fly after the 32nd week of multiple pregnancies or the 36th week of a singleton pregnancy.
- Passengers who need to travel must apply for medical clearance by submitting a medical information form (MEDIF).
Specific Medical Condition Policy
- Passengers with hearing or vision impairments or special assistance in flight need to inform the airline of their condition.
- Wheelchairs are available at all airport locations. The Emirates team can assist passengers while at the airport.
- Emirates accepts motorized and non-motorized wheelchairs and transport aids. However, there are some size and weight limitations.
- Emirates can provide storage for one foldable manual wheelchair in the aircraft cabin if a passenger requests pre-boarding assistance at the boarding gate.
- Non-collapsible wheelchairs, electric wheelchairs, and electric scooters are accepted as checked baggage.
- If passengers are traveling in a battery-powered wheelchair or other mobility assistance, please notify the airline at least 48 hours before departure time.
- A cabin crew will update the visually impaired passengers when the announcement is made during the flight.
- Every Emirates aircraft is equipped with Safety Briefing Cards printed in Braille for visually impaired passengers.
Infants and Children Policy
- Infants less than 7 (seven) days old are not allowed on board, except for traveling for emergency medical treatment.
- Infants are not required to have their seats. However, adult passengers are required to notify Emirates if they will be traveling with an infant on their lap.
- Each adult can only bring one child or baby. If one adult travels with more than one infant, the passenger must purchase a seat for each infant.
- Children between 6 to 36 months (0–3 years old) can travel in a car seat (surcharge) as long as the seat is equipped with an appropriate child restraint device.
- Infant passengers are allowed 10 kg of baggage and cabin bag, free of charge.
- Child ticket fares depend on route and seat class.
Unaccompanied Minors
- Emirates provides Unaccompanied Minors services for:
- Children between 5 (five) and 15 years old flying alone.
- Children under 8 (eight) years old travel in a different cabin class than their parents or guardians.
- Children older than 8 (eight) years are traveling in a different cabin class than their parents or guardians when they have children under 8 (eight) years old with them.
- Emirates Unaccompanied Minors services include:
- Assistance at the airport, an Emirates team member, will meet the child at a dedicated check-in desk and accompany them to the airport; the Emirates team hand the child over to the crew.
- Priority goes up for unaccompanied minors, as well as assistance in placing cabin baggage.
- Make special arrangements for Unaccompanied Minors meals, provided the parent or guardian has notified the Emirates team of dining preferences at the time of booking.
- Greet unaccompanied minors near the aircraft door upon landing and assist them through the airport before taking them to meet their parents or guardians.
Important notes:
Please arrive at the departure terminal at least 90 minutes before take-off for domestic flights and at least 2 hours for international flights.
Check-in counter would be closed 45 minutes before take-off.

Go to “My Order”.
Pick the flight you wish to cancel and then click “Refund”.
Choose the reason behind your decision to do a refund.
Read the terms & conditions carefully, then continue.
Pick the passenger doing the cancellation.
Check the estimate refund you would get and fill in the bank account information needed for refund process.
Final check all the details and validity of information you provide. If everything is correct, click “Submit Refund”.
How to Cancel an Emirates Airlines Ticket on tiket.com
- Login to the tiket.com app using the account you used to purchase the flight ticket.
- Access the My Order page by tapping the button at the bottom of the app.
- Select the flight you wish to cancel and press the Refund option.
- Choose the refund reason from the available options.
- Read the Terms and Conditions for flight ticket cancellation and press Agree to continue.
- Select the passenger requesting the cancellation.
- Check the estimated refund balance and fill in bank account details if requested.
- Review the details again and ensure all information is correct, then click “Submit Refund”.

How to Reschedule an Emirates Airlines Ticket on tiket.com
- Login to the tiket.com app using the account you used to purchase the flight ticket.
- Access the My Order page by tapping the button at the bottom of the app.
- Select the flight you wish to change and press the Reschedule option.
- Read the Terms and Conditions for rescheduling and press Agree to continue.
- Select the passenger requesting the rescheduling.
- Click View Reschedule Fee to proceed with the process.
- Search and select the new flight. Proceed to payment.
- After the payment is successful, the new e-ticket will be sent to your email and can be viewed on the Your Orders page.
Airport Check-in Service
This service is available starting from 3 (three) hours before the departure schedule for international flights, and 2 (two) hours before the departure schedule for domestic flights. Please arrive at the check-in counter on time, because:
- Domestic Flight: The check-in service closes 30 (thirty) minutes before the departure schedule.
- International Flight: The check-in service closes 60 (sixty) minutes before the departure schedule.
At check-in, please bring an identification card matching the information on your passenger ticket. Timely check-in processing will help ensure your journey goes smoothly.
Online Check-in
Emirates also offers online check-in service, allowing you to bypass airport queues. You can perform online check-in from 48 hours until 90 minutes before departure through the official Emirates website or mobile app. After check-in, you can print the boarding pass or save it on your mobile device.
