Saudia, or known as Saudi Arabian Airlines, is a national airline of Saudi Arabia based in Jeddah. The airline's main operational base is at King Abdulaziz International Airport, Jeddah, and secondary hubs at King Khalid International Airport, Riyadh, and King Fahd International Airport, Dammam.
Saudi Arabian Airlines is the third largest airline in the Middle East in terms of revenue, behind Emirates and Saudi Arabian Airlines. Saudi Arabian Airlines operates domestic and international flights to more than 120 destinations in the Middle East, Africa, Asia, Europe, and North America. The airline also serves domestic and international charter flights, mostly during the Ramadan and Hajj seasons. Saudi Arabian Airlines was founded in 1945 with a dual DC-3 (Dakota) HZ-AAX engine given to King Abdul Aziz as a gift by US President Franklin D. Roosevelt.
