United Airlines Features
United Airlines, Inc. is a major American airline headquartered in Willis Tower, Chicago, Illinois. The airline is the third-largest in the world, with 86,852 employees (which includes all holding companies of United Airlines Holdings) and 721 aircraft. United Airlines is the creation of the pioneering flight, William Boeing, who was born from the merger of many operators and equipment manufacturers from 1928 to 1930.
United Airlines' initial route was to connect the airmail route, namely from east to west, precisely from New York City to San Francisco. As for commercial flights, United Airlines began in 1933 with a Boeing 247 unit with a flight route from Newark to San Francisco.
William Boeing himself began his business in the field of aircraft in 1916 by establishing the Boeing Airplane Company, which did the first international postal delivery in 1919. Boeing then founded United Aircraft Corp in 1928. United Aircraft Corp acquired the Pacific post and passenger service operators Air Transport on January 1, 1928, now renamed Boeing Aircraft & Transport Co. and joined Pratt & Whitney Aircraft in early 1929 to form the United Aircraft and Transport Corporation (UATC).
UATC acquired some of the first service operators in America, such as Stout Air Services on April 29, 1929, Varney Air Lines in early 1930, and National Air Transport on May 7, 1930. On March 28, 1931, UATC formed the corporation United Air Lines Inc. to manage its airline subsidiaries.

Prize from Miles can also use for flights with other Star Alliance member airlines. You can earn Miles points by flying, shopping, eating at restaurants, and transacting with certain credit cards. United MileagePlus has consistently selected as the World's Best Frequent Flyer Program by readers of US Traveler Magazine. The key to MileagePlus's popularity is the Miles points that can be exchanged for prizes on airlines that partner with Star Alliance.
United Airlines is proud to be the first US airline to commit to reducing greenhouse gas emissions to half lower by 2050 through the Eco-Skies® program.
