It was quite nice to live above the rein and look out over it every day. The highlights of our stay It was a great place for families. Our kids ages 6-10 received welcome bags with lots of fun things. The central green space had a lot of outdoor activities and games. The room was a great size. When we went up to the pool with little bear ears, the kids also received cute bathrobes which they enjoyed. It was entertaining that there were goats out in front that the kids greeted every day. We had nearly to ourselves in the pool. The spa area appeared really nice, but it was generally closed to Corona there was nothing to do about it. Interior design and African inspiration were really well done. I don't understand how all the explanations were only in German. We had dinner twice in the restaurant and it was great. The venison was outstanding. When making a dinner reservation, ensure that you request the dining room on the left because the other is the usual breakfast room. Its a really pleasant room with soft seats, lovely decor, and ambiance. Also, there are breathtaking river views. The front desk staff was also lovely. Helpful, charming, and caring. They all spoke English, which we always appreciate. Very beautiful experience. Breakfast was ordinary but adequate. Nothing unique. Could have been Corona, but I think thats just ordinary german.

I plan to go back. This resort was ideal for the two of us since my wife enjoys hiking and do so if there is a golf course attached. Coronary has altered vacation dynamics and quarantine conditions are still clear, but Jakobsberg seems to be doing a good job under current summer 2020 circumstances even though some facilities, such as fitness, restaurants, are compromised or closed. However, we thoroughly enjoyed our two nights here. The restaurant and front desk employees were friendly and welcomed us home, making it appear that everyone was relieved to be back on the job. Rental clubs were a comparative bargain at $20 with Taylor produced short irons, and having a late afternoon with only a few other players on the course in good condition though the fairways were dry as said by someone previously is exactly how I enjoy it anyway. We had it to ourselves because the small but extremely effective gym had 10 newly-made topnotch machines and multiple hand weights. It was open for three days, but it was restricted to two people, making it the most memorable. The restaurant has some interesting sculptures and artwork, including gun, carving, and pipe collections, but whats most unforgettable, for worse or worse, is the taxidermy display of african animals, which those against hunting will probably hate. The previous three reviews are definitely worth reading, they go into so much detail that I can cover all the same things. We were a group of six golfers there from Friday thru Sunday, 2 I dinner, 2 I breakfast buffet inch 2 I 18 holes. We parked directly in front of the main entrance, loaded our luggage and then drove up to the large parking lot saving you having to walk all the way with your luggage. The reception staff was friendly and informative. Our rooms were in the African area. Youll find various reasons and interesting artworkssculptures and paintings across the hotel. Dinner has two places to sit, one at rp the other. We had a set menu for dinner as part of our package and youll find that the food is delicious, wellthoughtout, and of outstanding quality. The dining room staff is courteous and helpful, especially the head waiter Andreas. The breakfast buffet is ok nothing special, it was disappointing for such a renown hotel I. There was only the option of boiled, fried or scrambled eggs with a few strips of what is supposed to be bacon. Unfortunately, we could only stay one night at Jakobsberg. I was delighted by the entire experience and would have preferred more time. The location was excellent. The river view was breathtaking. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The property was large but felt private. We had supper in the restaurant and breakfast in the morning. Both were fantastic. The wine selection was impressive. The staff was friendly and helpful. The weather was bad so we were unable to enjoy the grounds. I would undoubtedly return to the Jakobsberg Hotel we were in the charming old wing. There is a newer section with spa services which also appeared nice.
