Harga sepadan dengan pengalaman yang didapat, walaupun perjalanan menuju lokasi lebih cocok menggunakan motor cc besar (misal nmax atau pcx) karena jalanan yang cukup kecil dan cukup curam Tapi semua terbayar dengan pemandangan yang luar biasa (saya mengambil villa dengan pemandangan danau dan gunung). Semua pemandangan disana benar-benar berkesan, tapi yang paling saya sukai adalah saat malam hari (jika cerah) bisa melihat bintang-bintang yang begitu banyak dan juga saat sunrise. Makanan tidak banyak pilihan namun untuk rasa cocok di lidah saya. Harga makanan standar resto/hotel, jadi wajar bagi saya. Staf sangat ramah dan sangat membantu. Jika ada yang komplain tentang lalat, itu wajar saja karena hampir semua tempat di kintamani akan banyak lalat di pagi sampai siang hari. Overall, saya sangat puas dan jika berkesempatan, saya akan sangat senang jika bisa menginap disini kembali.

Strategically located amidst the beautiful scenery of Batur Lake and the mountains in Kintamani, this hotel offers a truly unique and refreshing experience. I never thought I would feel cold in Bali, but the cool climate here is a wonderful surprise, making it a completely different side of the island. Located around 2.5 - 3 hours from Bali Airport. The property is intimate, with only six villas: three facing the serene lake and mountains, and three overlooking a perkebunan (plantation). For the best experience, make sure to book a villa facing the lake and mountain—it’s worth it for the breathtaking views. Each villa features a cozy design, complete with a small hot water soaking pool (kolam berendam) that’s perfect for relaxing in the chilly weather. The breakfast options are satisfying, with good variety, and the friendly staff enhance the stay with their warm and helpful service. However, one downside is the presence of thousands of flies in the Kintamani area, which are attracted by the organic fertilizer (pupuk organik) used in the nearby plantations. While this can be a bit of a nuisance, it’s a natural aspect of the region and does not detract from the overall experience. For those seeking a tranquil retreat surrounded by nature, this hotel is an excellent choice. Despite the minor inconvenience of the flies, the stunning views, cool atmosphere, and relaxing amenities make it a highly recommended stay for those looking to explore a different and serene side of Bali.

As far as the the villa goes it was exactly as described. It was so pretty and unique with amazing views! The staff was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was also very good. However, one thing not mentioned anywhere until we were trying to get to the villa was that it is on the top of a hill that is difficult for cars to get up to... also just a sidenote the area it is located in is very hard to get drivers from gojak but the villa had a few drivers to recommend although they were very up priced.

Die Villa und der Ausblick sind wirklich traumhaft schön! ABER: sobald die Sonne aufgeht, kommen auch die Fliegen, und wir meinen wirklich viele! Man kann nicht entspannen, weil man permanent die Fliegen am wegjagen ist. Das killt alle schönen Vibes und die Fliegen sind so penetrant, dass auch an draußen Essen nicht zu denken ist. Aufgrund der Fliegenplage sind wir auch früher abgereist. Die Kommunikation war mäßig, weil sie kein gutes Englisch können. Als wir die Mount Batur buchten, war morgens auch niemand da, der das Tor geöffnet bzw wieder geschlossen hat. Die Villen sind sehr hellhörig, man hört wirklich alles. Wenn unten in Dorf eine Party hat, kann man direkt mitfeiern. Schlaf und Erholung haben wir somit nur wenig bekommen.

Pretty cool view and the bamboo house is really nice as you see in social media and on the site. However, there is a critical issue that made me check out earlier. The issue is there are a lot of flies during the morning period. It kills the whole experience. Am talking about hundreds of flies that will sit on you and your food.
