Lovely little place in a quiet neighbourhood. Lots of local restaurants around and very near the Hatten Square malls. Very friendly and helpful staff (and resident cat). Nice roof top lounge for chilling.

Nous avons séjournés deux nuits au Nest House. Nous n’avons que de bonne chose à dire sur cet hôtel boutique. Le personnel est avenant, notre chambre était très confortable. Nous avions accès à divers produits café, thé même des nouilles dans une cuisinette à côté de la réception. Frigo, bouilloire, micro-ondes. Nous pouvions aussi disposer d’une belle terrasse sur le toit avec tables et fauteuils. L’endroit est un peu en retrait de la rue principale ce qui ajoute au calme..

Staff is very helpful, The Nest House provides coffee, tea, noodles at a counter in the lobby. At first look, it doesn’t seem to have a lot to see around but we were wrong. In fact, you can walk to the old Dutch and Chinese quarters and shop all the way in huge shopping centers. Don’t hesitate to feed in local restaurants ! We add one more night at the hotel to visit.

스타프도 친절하고 방도 깔끔해요. 무료 스낵바가 있어서 간단하게 식사도 할수 있어요. 단지 흠이 있다면 리프트가 없어서 가방을 가지고 올라가야하는데 그것도 도와달라고 하면 도와줘요. 근처에 맛있는 식당도 있고.. 만약 다시 간다면 또 묵고 싶어요

The property is well designed and felt like a home stay. There was a small area for making tea and coffee as well as noodles which was great. The staff were really helpful in suggesting what to do. Melaka is great in the evening and the hotel is close to the centre. It is hot in Melaka so the air conditioning was great. Would definitely stay here again. The artwork and overall vibe is great.

Following the Tourism Tax Act 2017, all foreign tourists staying at any accommodation in Malaysia are subject to a tourism tax of MYR 10 per room per night. Other city tax or heritage fees might apply according to the local government’s regulation.

[Now - 31 December 2024] City Council of Malacca will impose a Local Council Heritage Tax of MYR 2 per room per night for 0-5 star rating. The star rating will be in accordance to the rating from Local Council and should the rating differ from the website, the local council rating will apply. This fee is payable directly to the hotel upon check-in and is not included in the room rate and taxes stated herein.

NOTE: Effective September 1st, 2017, as per Government of Malaysia requirements, hotel guests who are not Malaysian citizens or long-term/permanent residents of Malaysia will be levied a tourism tax of RM 10.00 per room per night stay. Please note these changes in tax structure will result in revised taxes being charged and will be payable additionally during check in.

Effective January 1, 2025, the Malacca City Council will impose a Heritage Tax of MYR 3-5 per room per night. This tax applies to all types of accommodations, including but not limited to 0 to 5-star hotels, hotel apartments, motels, inns, homestays, villas, and resorts. Born in February 2018, The Nest House Melaka is situated along the laneways of Bandar Hilir which makes is close enough to reach Melaka’s main touristy attractions by foot-UNESCO heritage sites, cafes, restaurant ,markets, and museums. The Nest House Melaka is a homely-run 10 rooms accommodation with artistic ambitions. Each room is different and beautifully designed with a touch of minimalism and sustainability features in mind. The aesthetic speaks neutral colors, differing textures, bespoke fabrics and even Instagram-able interactive arts in every corners! All artworks contained in The Nest House Melaka are creatively done by Melanie Bayoud of Embee Design.
