My group visited San Diego over the new years for 2022. Ill start with the positives. It was a beautiful complex with lovely suites and bar burn has one of the best views ever and good food. My group stayed there over the new year for 2022. We attended their party for the first time. It was a bad morning and they set up tents. They had an old man running the fire and many guests complained the tents were too smokey to have a normal experience. However, they did not stop the fire even when guests were literally crying from the smoke, they simply got everyone drunk on mezcal. The 6 course meal was inconsistent, and I think my group only had 4 courses due to disorganization. Then we tried to return to the rooms, but we were muddy from the rain and tried to clean our shoes and rooms with towels. They then charged us$98 usd for the towels. The towels werent that nice at first and were used. You can get brand new towels in the US for less than $30 in Mexico, I would expect them to be less expensive. I will suggest that my friends choose different hotels to stay at when they visit. We also had a reservation for brunch on Saturday at Bar Burn, but it was cancelled without communication. Because it was a cool place, I am very hoping they improve their customer service.
