Absolutely spectacular stay in Mina Tanjung Hotel. Located not far from Bangsal Port, eases crossing to the Gilis if you already have plans to take the fast/public boat from there. It is also closer to Sembalun Hills and the foot of Rinjani mountain, so you can make a day trip to one of the easier hiking points. They also provide private boats you can charter, car service between the hotel, airport, Bangsal/Sengigi port, and to Mataram city with competitive prices. It's situated right on the beach, so you can play in the water or just watch the waves in the provided lounge chairs. The room and bathroom was spacious, but the hot water seems to be a bit limited and takes a while to heat up again. Wifi was also an issue as our room was the farthest from the reception area so there was none, and we can barely get reception in the bathroom. Cleanliness can also be improved. I found a small roach in the bedroom, and the bathroom toilet was not secured properly and thus it would squeak when you sat on it. Overall, those cons do not detract me from giving this accomodation 5 stars, and the ease of service for their cars, boats, and beachside location and views.
