This place is great. In July, we spent one night here. The hotel is about 30 minutes on foot from the river Kai Bridge. They also serve a pretty good hotel, they served a precooked breakfast, but it was so unhealthy. The location is so close to the river and the city. And then, we can choose the plate breakfast because we will have a good taste. Subsequently, the hotel is close to the bridge.

Overall I would recommend this hotel. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The view is stunning, and the pool is very clean. The staff doesn't speak English but is doing their best to help. The room is ok for the fee you pay and quite large.

This place is very close to River Kai Bridge if you intend to visit the ancient place in this area. The room can be used for up to 24 hours. The breakfast here is great, with stunning scenery. Others were ordinary staff, which found it confusing with my bookings at the time I checked in. The check-out process was quick. The hotel informed me about the wedding in the morning, but that will not affect my stay at all.

Very close to the river kai bridge If you intend to visit a historical place in this area, this place is a good choice. The room can be used for up to 24 hours. Good breakfast here with a beautiful scenery. The other average team thought my booking was confusing when I checked in. Checking out was smooth. Hotel informed me about a wedding in the morning but it didn't do anything for my stay.

I reserved a raft accommodation, but the view wasnt spectacular because it was the river and raft, so the view was blocked, you cant sit on the small balcony, so the river didnt have any real benefits. However, because the walls are so thin, you can hear everything that is going on in the adjacent rooms every word, snore, burp, fart, laugh, and bed creak. After a long night, I requested to relocate to one of the huts, and it was an improvement. The river view was lovely from the restaurant, and the location was good, close to the station and easy walk to town stores and cafes. Wifi occasionally got down.

The room looked cool. The hostess was very nice but the room was not up to the standard I expected. I stayed in a room on the water and it was dirty. The curtain looked dirty but stained. The bed sheet appeared to be clean but unclean. The must smell in the room left me sleepless. The bathroom in the room was clean, but over time the water drew down the sink and was splattered onto the floor. Some plumbing connection at the floor lever was broken as it should. There were no bathroom facilities other than a minute bar of soap. I made do for one night. If I had been in town for a longer, I would have looked for other accommodations. No breakfast, tea or coffee. The only upside was the location on the water and the main area in Kanchanaburi.

The price is reasonable. I remained in a bungalow next to the garden. The hot water worked fine, making for a quick shower! I chose a cot without air conditioning, and the fan worked well. The position is off the main road, so the place was quiet except for the roosters. The main attractions and Kanchanaburi train stop are within walking distance of the location. After checking out in the morning, I was able to leave my bags for the day. The mattress is fairly old, but for the price, I wasn't expecting memory foam. I would stay here again and recommend it.

There was air conditioning on the raft, but the room was great, but the bed was dirty. The bathtub had a clean bed and was equipped with a good breakfast, but not even a bar of soap. I think there is a parking space around the corner.

I kept my hopes low for the price. But they were probably beyond my expectations in almost every way. I booked a raft room last minute and everything at checkin was smooth. The room was nice with doors on both sides that led to your balcony for sunrise and the front walkway for sunset. You get physical privacy in your room, but the walls are not as thick as other reviews suggest. Do you understand why the walls are thin? Because your room freaks out and floats. When I stayed the night I stayed they set us up so no one could have neighbors. The ac is freezing, and the shower is plenty hot. The beds are soft by Thai standards which annoyed the strange notion that you are not given a top sheet. There is a mattress coversheet and a blanket which is quite warm. Its an awkward setup. The locks may not be most reassuring for the type of people who are concerned about that, but the access is so controlled in that area that a break in would be difficult. Also remember you can punch through the walls pretty easily, why would thick locks do you any favours? The setting is fantastic. Your just far enough away from the tourist strip to avoid noise, and close enough to be on a barstool three minutes after leaving your room. Oh well, last thoughtsthe sink in the bathroom drains onto the floor. Dont wear socks into the bathroom

The hotel was great for a one-night stopover. The swimming pool was lovely, and the rooms were big and spotless. During supper and lunchtime, we had excellent food, but the service was extremely slow, so be quick and allow plenty of time even for simple orders such as french fries. We were the only people in the pool for four hours the morning of our pick-up, making it all fine for one night. The night we stayed there, there were two restaurants with a live singer in one on the river Kai.

We spent two nights at the hotel with our family of six. The rooms have been recently remodeled, are very clean and spread over a wellmaintained garden that leads down to the river. Checkin was easy, the prices were really reasonable, and the breakfast was incredible. The kids adored the pool and one of the nights, I had a decent, albeit expensive Thai dinner at the inside restaurant. The service was friendly and we were close to the city center in 10 minutes. Despite the renovation of the rooms, the beds weren't the most comfortable, but overall, we had a great time and would happily return.

Located on a river bank. The rooms are very quiet and well-appointed. The pool is large. Breakfast is served in an outdoor and covered area and in the evening you can sit by the river and enjoy the scenery.

A lovely oldstyle family resort on the river banks, the royal river kai resort is a nice place to stay in Kanchanaburi. The hotel is one of Thailand's older-style hotels, and it is quiet and calm, with few visitors. The rooms are spacious and equipped with closets, nothing trendy here and it is quite away from the downtown entertainment scene. The spa's excellent older Thai masseuses who provided a fantastic Thai massage in a beautiful glass room directly next to the river was the highlight of our stay. What could be better? Just go back for a massage!.
