The staff was great and all the staff were nice. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Nice channel line. The outside was sad and the building could use some love but being pet friendly for a hotel is cool. I met a nice dog.

Red roof is so much fun. Red Roof has always been comfortable to live in because I travel frequently with my dogs. I chose a groundfloor room when I made my reservation. When I arrived, I was told they only had one ground floor room, but the to was not functioning. I accepted the offer since I believed I would only be sleeping in the room anyway. The front desk personnel was friendly and offered me a small discount on the broken to. I entered room 112 but was unable to open the door even though the light turned green as I tried to scan the key. I returned to the office for assistance. The handle sticks, so I had to push it up and down from the room and to the right without putting my body weight against the door at once to get into my room. Thus, every time I needed to enter my room, I had to use both hands to grasp the handle all the way up and down to get into it. The room was incredibly uncomfortably full, including when I woke up the next morning that the large pot was empty. Breakfast was not provided. The mattress was comfortable and spotless. Lovely, cold refrigerator. The microwave in the room. I'm not sure if it works. I didn't use it. Im thinking it works and having one in a room is beneficial. The room was very quiet, even in a fully booked hotel. Cons The lock on

The staff at the housekeeping here are very kind and friendly. They also have a fantastic location to travel, right next to the expressway, and also very professional, helpful and warm.

This hotel has excellent value overall. This hotel is great because I just needed a comfortable, clean place to stay while visiting friends and family in the area. The staff is polite and helpful. The bed is comfortable, everything is spotless. I particularly liked the charging station in front of the nightstand as it was much easier than searching all over for outlets. One caution: The bathtub is very slippery and there are no grab bars, so be careful. That was the only thing I would criticize.

This hotel is close to the main shopping area. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, the internet worked, and we had a very relaxing stay. Although the room is a bit smaller than some hotels, the king-size bed was wonderful. The front desk staff was very helpful and the price was very good. Easy to get to off and back on the byway.

A good place to stay for the money. It is good to have a king-sized room but they were out. So I had two queens. The room was clean. In the room there was a microwave and refrigerator. King has a small coffee pot that wasn't in the queen room. There are many restaurants nearby which is a plus.

The motel is quick to locate just off the highway. The staff was pleasant, and the lobby was tidy and well-kept. Although the hotel has a restaurant, they still offer a free hot breakfast. We had supper at the hotel, and it was delicious and not too expensive. Our room had an additional chair and a large desk. There was a microwave and fridge. My suitcase had one bench, and my husband had to use the additional chair for his luggage. The air conditioning and heat both functioned well. The wifi signal was quite weak. We had to renew the door card several times. The room was relatively clean, but the housekeeping staff needs to be more vigilant. There were layers of dust around the electrical outlet next to the bedside lamp as well as on the lamp next to the lightbulb. The breakfast woman was very friendly. Breakfast items such as cereal, bread, fruit, scrambled eggs, biscuits, gravy, and toast were the usual items. Apple juice and strawberrykiwi juice were available, but no orange juice. My husband and I argued that the scrambled eggs had a distinct taste.

I will definitely consider this again for another stopover on the trail. Hubby 72 and I 67 often stay in choice hotels and have come to expect their quality inn properties to be average. I was wrong about this one! Maybe because it is also a conference center, it is far above average for a quality inn line. Clean and spacious rooms. Large pools area. beautiful lobby. Breakfast room above average.

Very disappointing, very disappointing and does not match my expectations. The location is excellent and the parking is quick and easy. They don't provide an elevator. The bathtub is very slippery and the room is very dark. They provide a decent selection for breakfast.

The fact that the front desk employee was so helpful and friendly was the best thing about it. The front desk staff member was so kind and helpful, and she greeted us with a grin. Because the room was old, we called the front desk because their to was broken, and Kim went down right away to fix it. The towels in the room were also worn out, and we didn't even have enough, so they were worn out. After that, kim came down with new towels and apologized again. We asked about the so-called restaurant at this hotel. Kim claimed it was closed. She recommended a wonderful food spot. We got out in the morning and left early. Nobody answered the phone and rang the number, much help for 24 hours. I would have given this place a five, but I must note that the front desk employee went above and beyond to make up for the bad things.

We had a good selection of Breakfast with big area because there are restaurants. However one of the soda vending machines has coin return but not working correctly. The room is so small. Noisy air conditioning disturbed sleep. Hair on bathroom floors. No safe to secure valuables.

This hotel is suitable for a nightly stay but not a place I booked as a vacation rental. My wife and I decided to stay overnight in Escanaba on our route from chicago to Ming id. This hotel is clean, convenient to downtown Escanaba and quiet from the Route along the south coast of the peninsula. Just that. It doesn't appear to have been updated recently and feels shabby and worn.

My husband underwent lasik eye surgery. The room was spotless and comfortable, and there was an excellent free light breakfast at 530 am, which is called a kickback. They even provide up to three complimentary beverages! Even though they didn't have anything I liked, it was still enjoyable because I'm a beer snob. The hot tub was immaculate, and the temperature was fantastic. The only thing I disliked was the road noise from the highway, but I should have put on earplugs. The employees were very courteous, and I liked that dogs were present in the hotel. This will not be the hotel for you if you are allergic or dead inside.

I always like to stay at the drugstore because it's clean, most of all because it's clean! I'm offering free popcorn as a bonus today. But we really enjoyed having Jordan check us in on our last visit! He was sweet, helpful, funny, and with respect. I wish him luck in college, he should go a long way!

My family of four, including two small children, had a wonderful five-night stay. The staff was really friendly. I am very picky about my hotels, and everything was spotless. We had a two-room suite, which was ideal for two kids. Breakfast and kickback were both excellent. We also loved the afternoon popcorn and the ability to use the soda machine at any time. Our only issue is our fridge in our room didn't cool well. I had to keep my daughters' milk on ice in the refrigerator. Overall, we had a fantastic time and plan to continue staying here when we visit family in the Grand Rapids area!.

We stayed in the town for an event for one night. Check in was easy and the staff were friendly and answering our questions. We enjoyed the free popcorn. Our first floor room was so quiet that we were sure no one else was staying at the hotel even though at breakfast we found out a tour bus of people was also staying there. The room was very clean. Breakfast was as expected, and the young lady kept everything stocked and clean. She stopped twice to ensure we had what we needed. This is a great place to stay. An excellent choice if you need a hotel in Grand Rapids.
