This is a travelodge in roanoke, Virginia. My wife and I traveled from Maine to Roane to Virginia on our anniversary trip. We had stayed in some delightful and interesting locations as we strolled home and took in the autumn colors along the Appalachian Trail. We had intended to remain at the super 8 in Duluth because my experiences there have consistently been excellent. We called wyndham and they were already full so we were offered this one for about $ 100. When we checked in, I was a little put off. The place had a dive feel to it. We walked straight to the front desk and passed an ice machine that beeping and inoperable. Towels were hanging on rails, with someone smoking outside their rooms, some trash on the floor, etc. We were exhausted and checked in anyway. When we arrived in the room, it seemed beyond the dive. It was horrible. We noted and photographed a few things we noted and photographed. The leader is the sole manager and he departed five minutes ago. When we asked her to call him, she replied that she had no way to contact him until he returned in the morning. There was a hole in the wall and the patch had fallen off. There was serious smell issues. It was usually dirty. Im not talking about white glove inspection, but I hope I can

I had a pleasant two-night stay last week. This weston was delightful to me, and the concierge lounge was really everything. Being titanium elite, I had complimentary access to the breakfast buffet, which was excellent. Plenty of self-parking, tastefully renovated rooms, Starbucks brand coffee in the room, a sizable fitness center, attentive personnel, and a restaurant with a decent assortment of dinner menu options. The one thing I will say about the dinner restaurant is that I did find that the seating was limited. So, basically, if I could alter anything, Id have more dining area and club lounges.

For a week of training, I stayed here last week with a party of 12. The front desk staff was friendly and quickly checked me in. However, the lighting in the primary room in the initial room I entered didn't work. I went back downstairs and was promptly assigned a new room, which worked. So far, no problem, these minor issues are not big deal for me. The room itself is tiny, but nothing unusual. Nonetheless, how they utilize this area is not good. The bathroom or the closet can be closed using a long, mirrored barn door. But what it means in practice is that to get to the closet, you must close the bathroom and vice versa, which is an inconvenience when you get ready in the morning. There is also no desk, and the outlets by the bed were only 50 working. The room was therefore not very useful! I was on the first level facing the highway, and the room had highway noise all night. Not overly loud, but I've been in quieter rooms and it was too much to notice when you try to sleep. I used the iron to crisp up my shirt, and it wasn't pretty worn out, but it didn't scorch my clothes. The window in the room was broken the entire week during my four days there. It wasn't anything that really affected me, but it indicates something about property maintenance. I ate breakfast in the eater

The hotel staff is courteous. My room is clean, quiet, there is plenty of hot water, the hotel grounds are well kept and the parking lot is safe to use. It is not a luxury hotel but no need that. It meets my needs and I am pleased with my stay.

I moved from the area a while back, and I believed this location to be close to the beachdrag strips of the Atlantic and Pacific avenues, so I anticipated nighttime noise. My adult son and I went down to see a relative and stayed here in separate rooms. It is not a star by any means, but I would rather stay in a place like this anyway. Im not a star person. Our rooms were fine, the noise level wasnt terrible in the hotel or on the street, but it was janitor on the beach to be fair and we were absolutely comfortable. The housekeeping staff was fine with us not wanting our rooms cleaned till we left. We stayed for three nights. We had rooms next to one another and my newly engaged adult did not bother me with his young adult noise in his room to, music, food deliveries. Id most definitely stay there again. I dont expect to need to until an event happens, and I hope I can bring my cat with me at that time as it might or might not be an extended stay. I wasn't sure about the irons, safes, or hair dryers because I didn't need them and didn't notice or pay attention.

I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The Residence Inn by Marriott Almond Arlington Balloon Arlington 851803627 is conveniently situated in a wonderful location close to numerous eateries. I can easily get there using the nearby metro stop. The front desk office cleaning crew was excellent. They always met our needs. Breakfast was also great and occasionally varied. The ladies at breakfast were really helpful, especially Marina, who always performed her job with a smile. We discovered one incident of dog poop in one of the two elevators during our weeklong visit. And it was never picked up by the owner. The hotel finally took care of it, but it was a terrible occurrence. Although it is a pet friendly hotel, the owners must also take into account other amenities.

This hotel was perfect for our family of three. Having stayed at a few hotels post-couid, I can say that this was the most enjoyable stay weve had recently. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the rooms and amenities were immaculate. Breakfast was plentiful, but there are also many fantastic locations nearby that are valuable. It is also a short walk to the metro. For the unfortunate, there is now a cute playground and park across the street. This place needs a makeover. It doesn't even look old, but some of the furnishings are in disrepair. Our room's dining chairs had holes in them, and you could tell the cabinet was extremely cheap because they were all chipped and some had even water damage.

Excellent location easy stroll to famous cemetery and inexpensive drive into Washington or cheap uber. Shopping nearby. Excellent and unusual free parking in the area. Parking underneath and elevator up. Simple. The rooms are comfortable. The building is older but well kept. There is no repair currently with restrictions. This was the cheapest hotel I could find in a good location with decent reviews for our Washington visit. We were pleased with the choice.

I think it is a dangerous place to stay, particularly with kids. The area is devoid of drug dealers. They can be seen hanging out in the lobby and parking lot. The area is not well kept! The personnel who reside here closely watch you go in and out and closely watch your baggage! As soon as you enter, the odor is awful! In addition, the entire structure has cockroaches so I urge you to avoid this particular location! Ill also state that we were checked out within an hour of arrival there because of the experiences of my family, after we located a secure location with rooms available for us and our sevenyearold daughter. After fighting with various people, we received our $150 refund, which is the only positive, but it took them a week to even accomplish that!.

I would come back here again. This hotel is so amazing and comfortable. Because of a flight change and we were also extremely happy with the service provided, the cleanliness, and of course the 24 hour coffee shop. This place exceeded our expectations!

If I ever stayed at this hotel again, I will be there again. The room was lovely, clean, and we could open the door and pretty much step on the beach. But I was requested to provide a genuine drivers license. I had just applied for a new one after losing mine, but I had a picture of my original license. Nevertheless, jimmy the desk clerk would not accept it and told me I couldnt stay there without his original license. I then asked if he could use my boyfriends license. He agreed, but after changing his mind, he stated he had my license because I had reserved the room. He told us we could not stay without my license and he couldnt refund my money because I booked through expedite and they would have to refund it. I was about to talk to him, but he called the manager and then took my license and boyfriends license. There is no housekeeping. You must ask for it before 300 pm or take your own towels and washcloths from the front desk. It was a nice location to stay overall if you want to spend a few days on the beach. Customers coming in behind us also had some trouble checking.

The ocean 27 hotel is a great hotel with amazing staff. The ocean 27 hotel owners are the best I have ever seen in my 30 years of serving in the navy! The reception staff does a great job! I really appreciate the owners, the front desk staff, the mailman and housekeeping. Respectfully, Anthony Kelly, chief warrant officer, 2 rd U. I. Navy ret.

This hotel is more of a cheap motel where prostitutes and drug addicts live. It was ok in the room. The room had a mini fridge, microwave oven and single-serve coffee maker along with a few coffees, but the coffee was awful. They must have obtained the cheapest coffee they could get their hands on so don't waste your time using it. Go to a cafe or a restaurant for coffee. Yes, there was a bath, but they removed the tub stopper, so if you were traveling with small kids like I did, you could anticipate taking showers with him. At first glance, the room appears clean but the floor was dirty and sticky and there was litter everywhere. Because the parking lot is so small, if you drive a large vehicle such as a tahoe or suburban or a large vehicle with a trailer, you should go somewhere else. If we ever visit virginia again, please avoid this motel.

I could go on for days. Lets talk about my housekeeper, who I love so much. I dont even have to tell her what I like she already knows, she hooks me up and makes sure I'm taking care of me. Doodad is. Vickie is great she has a great personality and great customer service she takes care of me as well and harish always greets me with a warm smile you can't help but love. The candlewood staff are basically a big family. The way they work together to make sure every guest feels welcome and as comfortable as possible is amazing. Highly recommend this hotel if you work from home and need an ethernet connection. Don't be delayed call my girl Stephanie, the best salesperson you have ever met in your life. You want to be disappointed.

My experience with this hotel has been nothing short of great! Harish, Vickie, Stephanie, Marta, and Kristen are the most outstanding hospitality managers you've ever encountered. They all accomplish a fantastic job, and it is visible throughout the rest of the staff. From night workers raising to even rina, the housekeeping staff one day. All the requirements one requires are met swiftly and with a happy smile on their face because they are aware of keeping their clients pleased. My room more than meets the expectations of a normal room. The shower in the restroom is an adequate size, and the water pressure temperature is the best in the industry. Due to outstanding management staff, excellent room amenities, and its proximity to the dulles intl airport 5 minutes away and other shopping centers within a 5 block radius, I wholeheartedly endorse this location. I can guarantee that your stay at the dullesherndon branch will not disappoint you.
