I thought it was the best stay I have had in years. Felt like home. Friendly staff, clean, comfortable, super convenient. Comfortable bed. Then there was the shower, no ‘water saver’, can’t get wet here. It was just the best. Only problem I had was that I had to leave the next day. I’ll be baaack!

Incredibly helpful staff who were happy to help us multiple times during our stay. Room was clean and had all the appliances to make our stay comfortable (fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle). Great location near restaurants and shops.

The Civic was the loveliest place to stay. Cosy and comfortable, it was centrally located to shops, cinemas, hotels and restaurants. I highly recommend The Civic.

This is an excellent motel. It is quiet, very comfy and has the best shower ever. The beds were very good and the room was nice and clean. It was great because the motel is pet friendly. Next time we are passing through we will definately stay at the Civic Motel.

I stayed 5 nights. The decor was dated (so what?). There was no microwave (Sultana Bran instead of Oats for breakfast). Bed was comfortable, bathroom spacious and modern. The motel was opposite a pub - didn't hear a squeak from it or anything else (rooms are upstairs so don't get the banging of car doors or engine start ups). Overall, a terrific place to stay. The receptionist was so very kind, pleasant, helpful and happy. And - not the slightest hint of a plastic smile. Overall, one of the best of all the motels (that's quite a few) I have stayed at over (very) many years.

Easy walking access to the river walk, shopping, restaurants. The motel is older so not to expect modern decor, but clean large, comfortable room. Comfortable bed. Smallish bathroom, but you don't live in a bathroom. A good choice for accommodation in a beautiful town.
