I liked that it was in the area that I grew up in so I was able to walk around and knew where I was going which is important now that I am legally blind. The staff were very helpful and the room was clean, it would have been amazing if there was a microwave in the room as I wasnt aware of anything on the property to be able to use? Otherwise I will be back, it was so peaceful and relaxing which is what I went there for. THANK YOU

An unexpected gem of a motel with an understated view of the ocean. Car parking was limited so harder to get when returning at night. Staff were helpful and friendly. Air conditioning kept us comfortable on a hot night, and while the shower looked aged it had great water pressure. Would definitely stay here again.

The Oceanview Hotel is a great place to stay, but it also provides some bad service. The rooms are beautiful, the service is great, and the view is amazing. Close to shops, and the price is good. The staff is very good, especially for the 1 night stay or staying as a base for a longer stay while on our wonderful west coast.

The light was not very good, but it was very reliable. Go for a room on the first floor with a west view if you want a view. The old motel is tidy and close to the beach, shops, restaurants, and public transport. Parking is available, however it is open and not secured, and the courtyard was welllighted. We slept three people in the room we stayed in. There was a small twodoor fridge freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, sink, two burner electric hot plate in the kitchen cupboards, cutlery, crockery, pots and pans, and a small flyscreen. The carpet was new and the kitchenette was spotless. But the tap over the hand basin was full of water. If you want a view, choose a room on the top floor facing west.

The sea view view room was ok and the location is close to the ocean. They provide bar fridge, toaster, teacoffee maker, crockery, cutlery and plates, and so on. They have a parking lot so you can park outside. They have a bar fridge and tea / coffee maker facilities, they have bar fridge and toaster.

We were skeptical when we came to this place, but the beach next to it was a big draw. This is a simple motel with beautiful views. The owner is the sweetest woman who shows genuine interest in our day and gives us a lot of suggestions about places to visit.

For a week in the past, I was here. This motel is wonderful in every way. The personnel was excellent, especially the younger cleaner, who has dark hair and appears to be the amanda owner. She was incredibly helpful and helpful, and every time I saw her, she was exerting considerable effort. During my stay, her boss did go to her a few times to address issues that she was failing to do or didnt do properly, which I considered unprofessional. It wouldnt be easy to clean all of those rooms, but this woman did a fantastic job without offering any praise. I highly recommend staying here.

booking, key collection and drop off were excellent. Significant background noise levels were present overnight and early morning. Including rattling sliding doors to balcony. Unfortunately I am a very light sleeper so did not get much sleep on first night and gave up on second night and left at 1am.
