I usually stay at the Hougoumont Hotel, but at $279 plus parking, Nautica was $100 cheaper with free undercover security parking. The Nautica studio room is about 3 times the size of the “Superior cabin room” (shoebox) you get at the Hougoumont. With a lounge area, balcony and kitchenette. The bathroom has a full sized shower, basin, toilet, toiletries, hair dryer and an extraction fan that is quiet and efficient. Lounge area has a leather lounge which faces a tv. The glass sliding door opens onto the generous sized balcony. There are 2 wardrobes, 1 with an ironing board and iron with hangers, the other floor to ceiling wardrobe has ample storage for a longer stay and includes a safe. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were not. Bad points: The Nautica supplied 4 pillows of exactly the same size. When will accommodation properties learn to supply different sized pillows? After hours check-in is via a code on the security box at the front. The instructions came with the remote for the undercover parking security gate and 2 swipe cards. Check out is messy. You have to move your car out of the undercover car park before you do anything, then return the swipe cards and remote to reception. If you leave after hours, you have to leave your cards and remote on level B1, not at reception where you’d logically expect the drop box to be. BTW, there was no drop box on B1. So, would I stay here again? Absolutely! Nautica is well located and excellent bang for your buck."
