Having a beautiful beachfront accommodation is the best thing about tessa. A beautiful little beachfront area with lounge chairs, hammocks and a post beach shower, which was bordered by cacti and frangipani. They would be lovely but expensive because you could open your door to enjoy the direct ocean breeze. My stay was enjoyable and pleasant. I do think it is too expensive for what you get, however, we did stay during the Christmas New Year period and it was the most affordable of the available lodging on the gold coast. Last minute post couid all gold coast hotels seem overpriced for what you get. This is a very old motel that has been renovated, applied a coat of paint, and had a few hit and miss design features. The magnesium pool was beautiful to swim in, the painted driveway was cool, the beachside lounge area was relaxing. But our room had no windows, just a sliding door, so we couldn't enjoy an outlook from our room and it was kind of dark. Both the shower and bedroom had glossy floor tiles that were slippery when wet, not ideal in a beachfront location. However, better than carpet. Incorporating a more cohesive and stylish design with a few more upscale features in the rooms and around the motel would elevate the feel and help to look over the older bones. It is really

The tessa's direct location on the beach is its best feature. Only a few steps from the beach, we stayed in an island breeze queen suite, which was on the other side of the beachfront accommodations. A cute little beachfront area lined with cacti and frangipani and lounge chairs, hammocks, and a post beach shower was present. As you could open your door to experience the direct ocean breeze, the beachfront rooms would be lovely and affordable. My stay was enjoyable and pleasant.
