Capitol hotel was clean and up to date in china town. You need a card to get into the hotel and up to the rooms which made it safe and secure. Walkable shopping and dinning options made it easy to get what we needed. Lightrail stop is across the street and train station is a walkable distance.

Location was great - close to light rail and train stations. Quiet even though in the city and close to China Town, restaurants and theatres (The Capitol and Royal Theatre). Staff were excellent and very friendly.

I liked the security of the property and safety of the area. The tram is just across the street and can go straight to the quay, and there are stops along the way for shops, restaurants, or even to darling harbor. And the tram behind the hotel can take you to the Sydney fish market. So, I loved the location. My only issue was the toilet in my room. It was too close to the wall that I had to sit at an angle-ish. I’m a 5’4 stocky/slim filipino guy. Other than that, I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is just a few steps from George St and you can get on the tram from right outside the hotel. Lots of bars, pubs, places to eat. The room was very comfortable, modern, very clean and quiet. I will be booking a room at the Capitol next time I visit Sydney CBD.
