We camped at Molema Bush Camp for 3 nights over Independence. We had a beautiful campsite under huge mashatu trees on the banks of the dry Limpopo. Lillian and Jacob were kind, helpful and efficient. When we got to the campsite Jacob had to shoo away the elephants that were snacking metres from our camp. We saw a crocodile in one of the pools of water in the river 70 m from our camp and a Scops owl flew out of a tree just above us. Joe took us on an amazing game drive one afternoon. First he took us to watch elephants with many babies wallowing in mud in the river, then to a hyena den where we watched mother hyenas suckling their babies. Hyenas are amazingly good mums as it turns out. On the way back he used his spotlight to show us a spotted genet lying under a bush. Joe was very knowledgeable and calm...an excellent guide. We saw virtually everything except for big cats but we heard lion 2 of the nights and leopard on the third. While playing cards in our camp we had to stop first to watch the eland and giraffe come down into the river and then again when elephants came right to the camp with a tiny baby to show us! It was all wonderful and we will definitely be back.

We were warmly welcomed in the wonderfull green camp. It is nicely located along the limpopo river, and many huge Nyalaberry trees and Feeverberry trees are spending shade in the verry hot summer days. The campesites are equipped with a nice fireplace and braai area. each place has its own abbolutions with drinking water. It was nice and clean.

Mesmerising location, superb guides. The camp is located in the middle of nowhere, only nature surrounds you. We stayed at one of the few camping spots. We went into the park, a natural reserve closed for free travel, with a guide. An incredible professional, who defines this place. Nature before tourism. One of few places where you should actually feel very thankful for being able to be there.

This camp which is situated on the banks of the Limpopo, is quite basic. The rooms are built on stilts, there is no electricity, so no A/C, no fans and was it hot 40 degs plus. There is a communal kitchen and dining area, The rooms and the camp itself are clean and tidy all thanks to the camp manager Tibbs, who is very friendly and very helpful. The wildlife experience was second to none, we had Elephants walk past as we were braaiing, game drives with KB was an experience. he found Leopard and Lions both with a kill. This more than made up for the night time sweats.
