After very good recommendations from friends, I don’t know if I was unlucky or what. We arrived at the hotel with high expectations, but as we walked in to our room we had a big disappointment. We’re not the kind of people that complain, but the amount of money we paid for this hotel we expected at least the minimum. Our room was dirty, to start. There were dead bugs all over our bed and floor corners. The hallway baseboard was falling off, the bathroom door was ruined and the shower and sink were all rusty. As that wasn’t enough, three of our towels had stains all over it. (Unfortunately I lost the pictures I took) We were very confused when they informed us that our room was located in the NEW building. After we complained, we were relocated to a much cleaner room, thankfully.
The pool was not very clean either, and we couldn’t use the natural water pools since Tuesday was our only day available for the park and it doesn’t open that day.
Pros: breakfast was good! Not a great variety but the options were tasty. Wasn’t too busy either.
Service is good, people are pleasant and cordial.
Massages were amazing! I highly recommend.
I’m giving a “very good” rate because “good” is not available and I don’t think “average” would be fair. But the hotel, for the price charged for a regular room, is not a five stars hotel as they claimed to be.
