One of those automatically relaxing places.
Good rooms, decent food, reasonable service.
The caveat being ¨when it´s not too busy¨ . it only takes a small increase in numbers to mean that you´ll never get hold of a jacuzzi, you will struggle to get pool side loungers, you won´t get a table for dinner unless you reserve.
Service suffers on Friday when the weekend break crowds arrive.
Tip: If you are half board, have hotel breakfast and lunch and then get a taxi for R$10 (fixed amount) and have dinner in Cambuco. Plenty of options.
Good attempts at Covid measures, which perhaps also keeps the numbers down and the service good. It makes me think that if the place was full then service would be terrible. In these covid times, service was generally good. Staff do need more training though especially housekeeping and how to make a bed (!)
Families, don´t bother with the kids club. The hotel/resort is small that the kids will never be far away and will make frends easily.
Drinks tip: Excellent Moscow Mule.
Food tip: Anything local fish. Clearly the chef speciality. The kitchen does good meat dishes but excels at fish. Which is unusual for Brazil.
Check in - quite easy when no queue.
Excellent beach area with soft sand.
Don´t worry too much about wind here. it´s a bit windy on the beach, but this has clearly been taken into consideration with the design of the hotel and resort complex. Almost zero wind by the pool or anywhere else in the resort.
Clean and modern rooms, powerful and quiet a/c
Super relaxing, good pool, good staff, great environment, good food & drink.
Just migt be a bit of a pain when it´s busy.
