I had a one-night stay at Aparthotel a quaint and clean hotel composed of individual studios/apartments that are fully equipped, including kitchenette, allowing for total privacy. Each apartment has its own terrace, which is the perfect place to enjoy your breakfast. Donatien is the manager of the hotel and the one who made my breakfast due to the kitchen staff being on vacation. It was awesome! So fresh- I tried to convince him to bottle his juice and sell it. He is also extremely available. He helped me set up a SIM card and in general answered all of my questions. He has a great attitude and made my stay worth it. The hotel is correct for its value, but Donatien is definitely what makes this place special. I recommend staying here and will be back for my next work trip.

This hotel had great staff, great food, Beautiful grounds, huge comfortable rooms, fully equipped kitches, my fridge stocked with cold drinks everyday, great price.
I woul ddefinitely stay here again. You can reserve on expedia or pay in person in dollars. Burundi is short of dollars so best to bring dollars with you when you go.
I would definitely stay at this hotel again!

During my last stay in Bujumbura I was in Jardin Tropical for almost two weeks. With this and previous experience, I would really recommend the place. The studios have all the required utensiles and the service is really good!

We've stayed at the 2 bedroom apartment for 2 weeks with our family. The apartment is great, huge and has all amenities needed for a perfect stress-free stay in Burundi. The service is great, Donatier will always do his best to meet all customers demands. I can recommend Jardin Tropical as one of the best places to stay during your travel in Burundi, we will definitely come back

I had travelled for work with my colleague and this was the perfect place for us to stay! Its in a beautiful neighborhood, the place is very clean and everyone is really hospitable!! We stayed in the duplex room with all the amenities! The place is in a quiet neighborhood and the breakfast is really good. I'll definately stay here again when i come back to Bujumbura. I highly recommend it.
