My wife, a friends couple and me booked 4nights at the Koh Andet Eco Resort and we had a great time. The bungalows on the water we kinda basic but very cozy. The bathrooms are great decorated and the shower tub is something special. The food was great. The selection wasn't big but the quality was just outstanding! We did a couple of trips around the area, which is very scenic. The staff was very friendly and Pe' (the guy on the bar) was really helpful and friendly. We also got every evening a Thermo bottle of hot water delivered to the room. So we could have a evening or early morning tea. I can really recommend this place. Good food, great hospitality, cozy rooms and a place to relax!

If you are looking to escape a busy lifestyle and want a bit of peace and quiet then this resort will be perfect for you. My partner and I stayed at the resort for 3 days and it was beautiful however it does feel like it needs a little bit of work. The staff are friendly but they struggle to understand what you are asking and instead of trying to solve the problem for you they just smile and walk away. The food is very basic and they often run out of items on the menu. The kayaks provided are old and most of them are broken and therefore sink when you try and sit in them. I should also mention that they provide 'fresh' drink water for you, however, my partner got very ill from drinking it so I am not sure how fresh it actually is. The room is well presented and it is nice to wake up with views of the river but as previous people have mentioned you don't get the room cleaned and they is lots of bugs that come into the room throughout the day so it is a bit of a problem. Overall we did enjoy our stay at the Koh Andet, however, I would describe it as basic rather than luxury.

We left this resort with mixed feelings. Lot of potential but also a lot to improve on. The view from the resort is idyllic, overlooking a tidal river that splits in 2. The rooms are spacious with direct access to the river from your terrace. There are kayaks you can use to peddle around the Koh Andet island or to the small waterfalls close by. The food is very tasty and they have almost everything of what is on the menu. The service is from a low level, staff hardly speak english and mostly ignore you with the exception of Bunteng. They prefer to smoke, be on their phone or play in the rivirpool in front of the lodge instead of doing there job. Housekeeping doesn’t clean your room, the explanation given by the manager is that he doesn’t want the housekeeping to enter the room while you’re there, which I agree on but we were not in our room during the day. In general the resort is not clean and not well maintained (eg. the loungers at the pool are broken, lights not working, broken pathways,...) On the activities they charge much more than advertised on the site. Eventhough the resort is in a beautiful spot, opposite there are guesthouses playing lood music and karaoke until after 10pm, this has a serious impact on the experience. Hopefully things will improve soon and the resort can reach its full potential.

The location is actually really beautiful and the floating houses spacious and clean. BUT: the pick-up by boat didn't work: We had to wait over 1 hour! The staff is under-qualified, they don't really speak english and much of the menu they "no have". They didn't even have Gin (tonic). Therefore: massively overpriced.

Our Christmas stay couldn’t have been more wonderful at this beautiful property and staff at the Koh Andet Eco Lodge. It has to be 5 stars for the ultimate location, friendliness of the local staff and quality of the floating villas with stunning natural designs. They have the best receptionist and a married couple, Bona the handsome barman and his lovely wife, who looks after your stunning villa. At this time of year, there were hardly any insects bothering us, but best to bring some repellent. Villas have the latest breathable nets. All villas are equally beautiful, they are rustic definitely not run down and are situated on the headland of a miniature jungle island that you can visit on foot. Top tip wear sensible shoes!! We saw a snake in the rice field. Do accompany any children. At low tide, usually in the morning, there is a beautiful beach to access the river from if you’d like to swim with harmless white jelly fish!! Boat transfers are 30 mins one way, please arrange in advance with the resort. We so enjoyed getting to know Mr Norbert (a hospitaly advisor who is training the staff at this new resort) staff couldn’t be more helpful, with good English skills, learning about Cambodian people and local life. There was a huge variety of cooked to order complimentary breakfast and the meals prepared in a the professional kitchen on the island, just over the bridge were varied, delicious and perfectly proportioned for a healthy lifestyle. Bona, our waiter, made sure to take our order in advance on busy days, and food arrived promptly. It’s astounding what they manage, as the food has to come in by boat of course when it’s available, with seasonal fresh items when available. Please be patient if you are going to stay here as this river experience suits people who are happy with these facts. If there is anuthing they can do to make your stay better, please speak to them and they will do their utmost to make it happen. If you are after the ultimate freedom of your own kayak to explore this exceptional place independently, than this is for you!! Take note of the tides for safety, especially in the mangroves, discover red and black giant squirrels, an abundance of birds and you’re good to go!! Thank you everyone at Koh Andet Eco Resort, it was truly magical!!
