Nice and clean place with great staff. Also great for meeting other backpackers. You just need to be aware that this is a party hostel which means you need to bring your ear plugs if you are only looking for a place to sleep.

We stayed here for two nights and had a great time. Great social experience, with very friendly and outgoing staff making our stay so much better. We booked a trip to s 21 and the killing fields, which was an enlightening experience made seamless easy by mad monkey. Kimsin was especially amazing.

I had a great time at mad monkey for the first time and would highly recommend it! Great atmosphere and you can sign up for a game or tournament every night! Even though one of the staff completely destroyed me at beerpong, i had a great time and they are super friendly! If youre looking for a social and cool hostel in phonom penh, mad monkey is the place to be!.

I have stayed here twice and both times have been great. The staff are very genuine and fun, they go out of their way to make every day great! I highly recommend it! The room was clean and nice, the food was good, the drinks were cheap and the atmosphere was fun!.

The location is good, the decoration is nice, and the activities are fun for groups of friends, with beer and music. Most visitors are westerners. Recommended if you are going with groups. Solo travelers will find it a bit isolated when going to the bar on the ground floor.
