The hotel was very clean, as was the room. It was also a very quiet hotel. The staff were very helpful during my check-in and during my visit. The room was in great shape, but did look a little dated. I'd recommend staying at the Days Inn if in Whitehorse.

WORST. HOTEL. EVER. The lobby looks nice enough but then you get in the elevator which smells like something died in it. You get up to your floor and it looks like the hotel from a horror movie. Paint peeling, bathroom is circa 1980, so is the furniture. Door doesn't close properly (but all the locks work). It's questionably clean - and all this for $200 PER NIGHT. The staff at the hotel do nothing - huge party until almost 3am - I call down to complain and they apologize but do nothing. Toilet hasn't worked properly since we got here and all I get is "I can give you a plunger so you can try and fix it" - SERIOUSLY? I'm travelling with my son and feel unsafe but there are no other options so I'm stuck. If you can find another option - GO THERE (if it wasn't March I'd consider sleeping in the car!)

I walked into this establishment and it seemed okay at the lobby. I walked down the hall to the elevator and the hallway stunk like a homeless shelter. Seriously, not a nose sensitive guy but I do know what a homeless shelter smells like. It is as if the carpets have never been cleaned in at least 10 years. Worse, my room also stunk like a backed up toilet. I wrote to Wyndham, who wrote to the manager (a lot of good that did) and the manager flat out denied the smell but did offer to discount my next stay 50%. To make matters worse, I was given a room on the third floor facing the street. The walls are paper thin and the road traffic kept me up all night. What in the world would make them think anyone would want to stay a second time? Just a scam if you ask me. For $140/night, I would think about going elsewhere.

This is one of the worst places I have ever stayed, especially for $170 a night. Save yourself the pain and go somewhere else. The establishment is extremely dated and run down, situated next to a very busy highway that runs right next to your room window. Once inside, the building and rooms stink of old smoke, mold and wet dog. The room we were in was two queen beds, crammed into a space that was big enough for only one of them, so one person had to get off the bed over the other person, as it was right against the wall. The room was dirty, full of cobwebs and smelled. Room service was non-existent, with them replacing two towels once and leaving the bed untouched. The beds were not clean and we ended up buying a blanket and pillows to avoid sleeping in the unclean bed. The roof in the bathroom was on the verge of collapse from water damage. There was no fridge, or microwave. The internet was horrendous, could not even use google. The television offered a lovely variety of snowflakes over the show, delays in transmission or simply had nothing on the screen. On top of it all, the location this hotel is at, is near a rough area of Whitehorse and my vehicle was broken into twice while parked against the hotel. No security cameras or even a fake sign saying it’s under surveillance. I can’t empathize enough, don’t stay in this dump.

While traveling through Canada, we stopped into the Days Inn for one night. Had never been to Whitehorse but had seen the Days Inn and figured it was a reputable hotel chain so why not. The hotel was great in that it allowed pets and with 2 small dogs, this was important. The room we were given was average at best. The king bed took up most of the room so maneuvering around with suitcases was not easy. The room was dated but overall not too bad. Hotel staff was courteous and helpful with questions.
