I'm a Hilton Honors members for years, and always use Hilton chain hotels, specially the Double Tree, for business travels purposes. Currently I have been close to a month on this Hotel, and due to the COVID19 "protocols" they are not providing laundry services, but neither allow a laundry delivery service to enter the hotel to deliver...I work from 7am - 7pm and don't have the ability to deliver my own laundry, neither to pick up due to operating times. The funny thing is that they said laundry is suspended due to COVID protocols, and that they cannot accept/handover laundry delivery's, due to concerns around "contamination" my question was "did they have washing machines dedicated to my bedclothes? otherwise I'm using bedclothes that are used by other "possible contaminated guest's"..of course not. So this is nonsense. I encourage Hilton Group and Double Tree to revise there COVID protocols and try to be practical, flexible, and use common sense. This is not a Motel.....neither they charge at Motel prices... so despite the current challenges, they really need to think out of the box and try to accommodate based on guest situations, at least during these times.
