Marriott Chongching is always on my top list in Chongching. Again as a regular business traveler been to so many nice property but you can really feel this property’s service standard is really above other similar level in Chongching, from the entrance to the hotel. Arthur Amos and mike are very friendly and helpful to solve all my needs And Crystal and the colleagues in the reception are very professional and fast to handle all the check in process even we have so many rooms on the same time. Executive lounge is also another place I spend some time to read and work. Once again thanks to all the team! 重慶萬豪酒店、是我在重慶的首要選擇,整體環境非常得好、而且從禮賓部的 Arthur Amos Mike ,一直到前台的crystal 及行政樓層和全日餐廳,都一直保持非常高的服務品質! 洒店的茶餐室 也是我非常常吃飯的地方。可以感覺整個酒店的形象,及服務的確是有經過非常好的訓練、再次感謝酒店讓我在出差的時候、有非常好的愉悅心情 !!!!

When one stays at a Hotel more than 150 nights a year can immediately tell if the Hotel carries that Hospitality touch. Chongqing Marriott does it RIGHT! I had decided to put my 120 people meeting at this Hotel after staying here couple times. Every single of us are amazed with the Hospitality touch the Hotel served during our 4 day meetings. From the room arrangement, banquet set up, and what a Gastronomy through the Breakfast, Tea Breaks, Lunch and Dinner... consists full of creativities and local eats... I was happy to see the smiles and smiles from my Global guests and local staffs. Thank you Chongqing Marriott for such a great experience. It was an honor to welcome to our stage to allow us to applaud and salud to your dedication and Hospitality. THANK YOU

2020 has been a terrible year, the freedom to grab your passport and fly away was a luxury that we took for granted. I spent 14 days in quarantine and after which I was free. I booked myself into this hotel again given that it is reasonably priced and a fairly new property. No thanks to the ridiculous promotion that Marriot gave, the hotel was packed and again, no upgrade to a suite for me despite being a 8 years platinum member and have been back many times. The deluxe room was acceptable but what really impressed me was the impleccable service provided by Christy and Anne at the club lounge. I am not blown away by the service that was rendered to me because I often prefer to tend to myself. It was their ability to serve the rude and unreasonable chinese patrons that was remarkable. Many of us will know how some arrogant chinese patrons behaves and it makes us wonder if they know that they are not the only platinum members in the lounge or the ability to afford a club room or suite. After these experience, I am certain that the hospitality industry is not for me. Christy and Anne's tolerance to undeserving patrons set a mark to high to meet. Well done and I recommend this hotel!

I visited the hotel in late July 2020 with a friend. The hotel is located in Nan'an District and a few minute walk away from metro stations. Major attractions and the city center aren't too far away, and the mountain views can be really relaxing and quiet. Being the very first Marriott hotel in Asia Pacific with new Marriott interior standards, the design didn't disappoint. The public areas and rooms are well-lit, contemporary and upscale. However, maintenance in some areas of the hotel should need a bit of work, as the wear and tear of five years can be clearly shown. Breakfast was very good, with fresh pastries and multiple hot entrees and cold plate choices. It should be pointed out that fresh squeezed juice wasn't available in breakfast, which is a slight disappointment. Service is textbook class. Each and every very staff we met, from front desk staffs to restaurant staffs to housekeeping staffs, all greeted us with great politeness. Overall, Marriott Chongqing Hotel is a very solid upscale option in the city, and I would be delightful to stay in this hotel again in future visits.

The hotel is very nice, great rooms, great view (at least from the lounge,lol, as not all rooms have river view). However, there is pretty much nothing (which may interest a tourist) nearby. Few restaurants and that's about it.
