The place is close to lots of shops, has excellent facilities, is well-kept, and has a great location. The western restaurant on site is the single biggest problem. Almost every type of food is Chinese or other Asia Minor nations. The personnel were friendly and helpful even though they can't speak English at all. The food is tasty but not western.

The hotel is well-maintained but seems to be improving in years. With two exceptions, this is excellent value for money, with 1 they seem to disable about 3050 of the lights in the halls left foyer on my floor, and even the led lights in my room didn't really illuminate the room. Great for love but not for business, wanted to write a note but almost had to use my torch! Westerners' breakfast is not very good. In all honesty to the hotel, weifang isn't a big hit with foreigners, and I was only one of two westerners among about 30 people having breakfast there, so they can't waste food at a buffet if they don't have a large number of customers. The western breakfast options were numerous. The bathroom was tidy and cozy in the bed. They have a pillow menu, which I wasn't aware of until I checked out! However, my standard pillows were adequate. There are only 12 english channels on to. Overall very excellent, especially for the cost paid.

I booked a flight in China because the train system is not very user friendly for foreigners. They also spent time translating wherever I wanted to go into Chinese to give taxi drivers.

The room is big and clean, the furnishings are a bit old and the carpet is stained with use. The staff look eager to help but not all can speak English, there is always one at the reception who speaks English. The bed is very comfortable and big. The to has only one English station which is a bit disappointing.
