Was on a private trip and looking for a place to stay for two nights close to where I needed to be as the city is known to be wet during the summer. Was scepticle when I show the price, but was convinced by the few good reviews in Chinese. Decided to give it a try...
The location was okay. It is middle in the residential area with good neighborhood shops where you can pretty much find your daily necessities. It is facing a side street of a main road.
Check in was smooth. I asked for a quiet room as I sleep light which was promptly honored and I got a corner room facing a residential area. Got a keycard and two breakfast coupons handed over. Had to pay deposit for the room and off I went.
Upon entering the room, it appeared to be clean, modern and spacious. AC was working (which was badly needed) and all the amenities were in place and functional. No closet though, but is a rack with few hangers where I could hang my shirts. There is a mid-sized TV with lots of Chinese channels. Internet is free, but no WIFI, which I knew. So i plugged in my mini-wifi device and got my own wifi for all my devices. Super!
All was set and happy and went out for the visit which I came for, and realized the electricity would shut when I took out the key card. So went down to get another card, which was allowed, and had to pay more deposit for the card. Not a big issues.
Came back to the room in the evening hour, and found a cool and quiet room. Bed was clean and Chinese (i.e. hard), but comfortable. Had a good hit sleep.
Breakfast of vey simple as mentioned in all Chinese commentaries. The service lady was a bit grumpy, and the hygien was questionable. If you are looking for high standard, don't go to the BF room which is located at the roof, one up after the lift took you to the seventh floor.
All went well after two days and no complains...
Certainly recommended if you need to stay in the neighborhood and doesn't want to pay much money for a clean room.
