My only regret is not spending more time here. This is a fantastic little hotel up in the mountains of Santa Elena above Medellin. Beautiful colonial farm house. The rooms are cozy and heated by a fireplace (wood included), and it is a little chilly at night. The grounds are beautifully landscaped. the inner courtyard serves the dining area, and a TV is in the shared sitting room. Good wifi. It is not in the city nor that close to the airport (sort of half-way between), so it isn't a convenience stay. Come here to enjoy the area. It's about 1.5km to the tiny village of Santa Elena, with a church and restaurants, and about 12km to the Parque Arvi. The hotel serves breakfast (included), lunch and dinner (extra) if you don't want to venture out. The food was great, and the staff were all so friendly and helpful. I came with a bicycle and explored the area that way. Your exploration options may be limited without some sort of vehicle, though it is very easy to get there by taxi, and they will arrange transport to the airport. Massages/spa packages are offered that I did not try. Good spot to just escape from the city for a couple of nights. The room doors are locked with padlocks, so if you keep the key, no housekeeping service. I'm sure they'd come service the room if you ask. i wasn't there long enough to need much.
