We didn't stay here but each day we had dine for dinner at the Grand Eastern Hotel. The service was excellent and the meals were nicely presented and tasty.
The restaurant was very clean, with white table clothes on tables with small vase of fresh flowers. Staff were friendly with great service.
Thank you, will dine again and stay next time.

The condition of this hotel is in serious need
maintenance. The concerns that I had to raise with the staff
1. No hot water in shower
2. Mosquitoes in the room
3. The extreme bad condition of bed and pillows.
4. Only 1 towel provided.

Two couples are traveling around the island of Vanua Levu in Fiji. We booked the Grand Eastern Hotel in Labasa, Fiji and we're pleasantly surprised. The rooms were tastefully decorated, the swimming pool was very nice, the hotel restaurant and bar was a little overpriced but very nice. Staff was truly a gem in this lovely hotel.. Very helpful and extremely friendly. I will stay here again if I'm in Labasa, Fiji.

Stayed a night here while working in Labasa. It's a lovely setting that feels remote from any hustle and bustle. AMAZING FOOD. Small group of friendly staff members. Large rooms where we stayed, clean and comfortable with aircon. Basic amenities and some wear on the furniture etc.

We stayed 2 nights. It was expensive for the condition of the place. Needed new bathroom door, painting out the back door tidying. Bed was clean and comfy. Staff mostly friendly and helpful. Unfortunately we had inconsiderate neighbours who made visit unpleasant. Restaurant food was good average. If you want a bed it is an ok place but cost is too much. It is close to town, market.
