?!" Nad

The setting is excellent. I suppose it's not ideal for younger partygoers, but if you value excellent scenery, authentic traditional French lodging, excellent cuisine, and a genuine French family who hosts your stay, this might be the place for you. It is a very old structure, but the grounds are stunning. The mountains of the voices are the roads to it, which are twisty and great for motorcycle touring. Although the hotel is at the end of a road in the forest of the mountains, it is well-signposted from main road 420. As you enter the parking lot, you can tell youve entered a movie set. A movie set of this caliber cannot be made to perfection. Our hosts, who also reside at the hotel with their family, were incredibly welcoming and helpful. I honestly believe that this is the best hotel I've ever stayed at and the ideal location for me to wake up on my fifty-first birthday!.

In June, I spent one night alone. It is not hidden from the noise, but it can be found with maps and extensive roadside signage! Isolated from the woods, with many marked walks radiating from the parking lot. The proprietor, Patrick, is unsure what to think of him! While making direct reservations, he appeared to fully understand my English messages, but fortunately, my pretty basic schoolboy French sufficed. He could possibly use a google translator! He was a peculiar but friendly individual who actively used French as described. Despite the obvious language barrier, the charming young lady appeared to do everything in the dining area, including cooks and cleaners. Despite the evident language barrier, the charming young woman seemed to be doing everything, including being a waitress and cleaner, to prepare the evening meal by him, he was very enjoyable. The underwater is intriguing and eccentric in a very distinctive rustic way, though it was difficult to capture. The large, tidy, and cozy family room had a respectable bathroom and plenty of room if required. The excellent table dote dinner without main courses was served outdoors in the wintertime, and on Saturday night, a jazzblues combo was playing. On Saturday evening, the inside dining room looked great. The most basic menu I have ever had was bread, preserves, and cheese. All local ingredients, but only limited. The service

The property is in a lovely location with nearby walks in the woods. The owner, who is the two women who work there, did their best to make up for the proprietor's rudeness, and the coffee at breakfast was excellent. The service was incredibly slow, and it appeared as though they had been dealing with a large party at lunchtime that had put their operations together. Instead of apologizing, the owner acted as though everything was normal and completely ignored the unhappy guests, who the couple at the next table were even more irritated than us. Moreover, our bed was far too short. I don't have tall men, but my feet hung completely over the end, the whole house was a mess, and the breakfast, with the exception of the coffee, was the poorest I've ever seen in France in a long time. Yet, the owner was consistent in acting as if we should consider it a privilege to be there. Although we don't give any bad evaluations, there was far too much negative energy to ignore here. When you meet Basil Fawlty for real, it's not enjoyable.

If you enjoy walking, I'd suggest it to people looking for a peaceful and peaceful place. The hotel is in a charming wooded area with lovely gardens and pleasant strolls from the door. Although some areas inside are a touch dark, our cozy, no-frills room was bright and inviting, with a stunning garden view. Our evening meal was very pleasant cooked with home. This is a lovely, intimate hotel that was very quiet when we stayed, however, we understand that there are occasionally events such as live music. It has the potential to be even better, for example, when compared to other places we have stayed for similar or lower pricing, high quality local cheeses, jams, bread, juice, and coffee, we found the breakfast to be a little subpar, but we would have expected more choices, such as fruit, yogurts, etc.

We stayed there for five nights and would probably return. You won't locate a to or hairdryer in your room, and La charlotte is more of a guest house than a hotel, so adjust your expectations, relax, and you will have a great time! Patrick and Angelina, the proprietors, are kind and welcoming guests. Our apartment was roomy, comfortable, and clean. The food was excellent, and the portions generous, but if a lack of choice is a concern and you have a particular dietary requirement, it might be wise to contact the proprietors and ask if they can fulfill your needs. Much of the ingredients are located within twenty miles of la charlotte, which the proprietors are proud of. Three milk cheese from a producer in tantrum, which is down the road, are undoubtedly recommended. There is minimal customer service, so if you want a beer, you may need to go find someone to serve you. I know it can be difficult since most of us are accustomed to having hotel staff at our beck and call, but it is much less stressful than sitting and wondering if you are ever going to be served. You only have to ask for anything! The hotel is in a very quiet location, in particular, in the haut voices or in the region's wine region, and we can recommend visiting the Berchigranges
