We arrived last Sunday, Checked in. Had a look around. Liked the Hotel and its location. Very clean and modern. So we asked if we could extend our stay to two nights, which was fine. Went into the restaurant. The two waiters were very busy, even though the restaurant wasn.t even half full, but we understood and accepted the forty five minute wait before we were asked our room number and what we wanted to drink. Approx an hour later we got our starter, which was lovely, as was the main course. My wife asked for a glass of Rose', which was acknowledged with a grunt. When she asked the strength of it she was told to look on the bottle. They really did seem unhappy in their work. But we were not deterred. We had a look around the town, which is lovely. Then decided we would crack on with our journey to Spain in the morning, rather than stay the extra night we previously asked for. Wow. The girl on reception took our cancellation very personally, including dirty looks, huffing and puffing and banging of the keyboard and mouse. We tried to explain we had decided to change our plans because we wanted to arrive in Spain early, but we were waved away with a sulky grunt. We were absolutely astounded. When we checked out Monday morning, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Complete contrast. I guess we caught the Sunday staff at a bad time. Will not be booking this hotel on our return journey though.
