This hotel is as it promises to be - and more. Somehow it is rated 2 stars but it’s at least 3. The hotel staff take pride in their property - and it shows in all aspects. It is clean and functional (although no elevator) and the air conditioning was very welcome! The building is a typical a French urban building on a prominent and popular square with Al fresco seating and numerous cafes to choose from. Right near the Loire River and a very short walk from the old town and pedestrian shopping streets. Street parking was readily available at every time except dinner and was free overnight. There are many activities possible in the surrounding area. This is a classy small city and well-recommended for a visit!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. L'accueil est particulièrement agréable. Chambre propre et très bien équipée (avec climatisation, grand téléviseur, douche et WC parfaitement fonctionnels et très propres), donnant sur la place, mais nous n'avons pas été géné par l'activité plutôt mesurée par rapport à la place Plumereau à moins de 10 mn à pied de là. Le petit déjeuner est très varié et copieux. Le personnel est très aimable et attentionné. La décoration des chambres nous convient tout à fait. Au final un excellent rapport qualité/prix pour un hotel au centre ville de Tours. Nous y reviendrons

Had to travel for a conference. This hotel was very affordable, and a really nice stay for the money. Staff were exceedingly helpful and spoke both English and French. The hotel is in a really nice area from which you can explore Tours and find plenty of places to eat nearby. I would absolutely stay here again if I needed to return to Tours.
