On our journey from the uk to air en provence, we remained for two nights. We were certain we had chosen wisely the moment we made the trip up to the gates and saw the lovely treelined drive. Our accommodation was stunning, with a spacious, comfy bed and a fantastic bathroom. A kitchen with fridges and microwaves was right in front of our apartment. The icing on the cake was a fantasticheated swimming pool with showers and changing rooms adjacent. Subtle. Every morning, we had breakfast on the patio, and it was simply fantastic. Homemade jams, pastries ham and cheese, if you so desire, and delicious free range eggs from the neighbors. We were on our bikes, and Sandra recommended a fantastic ride down the phone into Lyon, a 40 mile roundtrip, mainly quite flat. Lunch was provided by cycling into the old town of Lyon. We drove into Anthon in the evenings and had dinner in a very good Italian restaurant attended by a lovely friendly and efficient woman. Cant wait to come back to Sandras lovely home.

We felt at ease while visiting La femme de Gringalet because we were welcomed and free to enjoy the beauty of their property. A few flocks of chickens and other curious critters wander about, adding a nice touch of colour and interest. The bedroom was roomy, and the bed was cozy and roomy. I particularly liked the provided scrubby hand mittens. It was wonderful to see the world's chickens pass by outside our French doors in the garden in a dressing gown. You need to let them know roughly when you're going to arrive when you first exit the property, so you must let them know when you'll be arriving before pressing the entry button. The driveway is long, green, and green, and they have definitely put in a lot of effort on it, and the style is fairly monochromatic, but thought-out and luxuriously done. Residents may make use of a kitchenette for tea and coffee. The morning meal was delicious, with freshly made pancakes, an unusual homemade lavender syrup, which I loved but may not appeal to everyone, creamy yogurt and fresh fruits, croissants, bread, orange juice, and an incredible assortment of homemade conserves and honey. All consumed while outside in a leafy bower. We intend to return, and the next time we might spend another night!.

It truly was an oasis in a desperate world. We stayed at la femme for two nights at the start of the lockdown due to coronavirus as we needed a place close to the airport. We weren't aware we had rented paradise. The bedrooms are beautifully furnished and comfortable, and the dining room is like something out of a fairy tale. Breakfast was fresh, handmade, and delicious. Our family spent two days making friends with the chickens and cats in the huge, beautiful garden because we couldn't leave the property. But what we appreciated most was the generosity of the hostess, Samantha. She helped us organize dinner delivery and provided food for both breakfast and lunch. She was very kind and calm. We will definitely be back in happier and safer times. Thanks, Susan and Michael.

We drove up a long tree-lined driveway to the converted barn, where Sandra welcomed us and made us feel at home, with friendly chickens at the gate. The decor throughout is chic and stylish but cozy. Homemade jams, fresh eggs and pancakes, the breakfast was delicious we were on a golfing trip through France and played at the Golf Club de Lyon 5 mins away. Sandra organized taxis and couldn't have been more helpful. Highly recommend.

I highly recommend this hotel to stay near Lyon. We loved everything and will be back. They provide big comfortable rooms, beautiful garden, a delicious breakfast, and great hosts. The best place to stay close to Lyon.
