The facilities are lovely. The service is incompetent beyond belief. When I arrived, there was no one at the front desk. When someone finally arrived, she took a phone call instead of helping me. When she eventually helped me, she assigned me to the wrong room. When she switched my rooms, the key did not work, so she let me in with her master key and promised that a key would be waiting for me when I came downstairs. When I went downstairs to get a key for my room, she had disappeared and the person working there did not have my key or any of the details. When I returned, hours later, to get my key, the person at the front desk could not find it until I helped him. The following day, my late checkout (agreed the day before) was not communicated to housekeeping.
This would be weak service anywhere, but at a purportedly five star hotel, it’s hard to recommend to anyone.
