The Rosenhof is a perfect place to stay if you have a business call on the nearby Ramstein Air Base or in Landstuhl. The hotel is located right next to the exit off of the Autobahn and the main road between Ramstein-Miesenbach and Landstuhl. Even so, it is very quiet in the rooms and lends well to sleeping.
The hotel is composed of several disconnected buildings, each with a little different sort of rooms. There are some with kitchennettes, some with larger rooms, and some which for a sincle person are fine, but to be used as a double are a little small, not having enough space to really unpack and spread out your belongings.
On our arrival we were given a room that had not been made up from the previous night stay, by mistake obviously, and then we had a room that was made up as a single, to which the staff immediately brought the extra blankets and bath accessories. The rooms are outfitted with good WiFi, no phones anymore in the rooms, and do have a comfortable chair if you have some extra time to sit around. Our room had a large TV on the wall, which we didn't turn on as there was no time to watch TV, and the rooms are all supplied with water.
There is emple free parking, right in front of the door, and the Rosenhof has a very good restaurant. Typical German dinners are there and many other European meals are also available as well as a nice wine list. The breakfast room is separate, and the buffet sports everything you ever wanted for breakfast.
Front desk, bar, and restaurant personnel are exceedingly nice, easy to talk to, and ready to help with any problem. Surprisingly on checkout we received a "going away sack" that contained among other things a piece of fruit, a bottle of water and some sweets for on the road.
We liked the Rosenhof very much and will definietly be back next time we have to go to Ramstein.
