So going to make a few things clear right off the bat. If you are staying here, and don't keep track of what is going on, you're going to have a bad time.
This is a place to stay for people who do not mind being woken up early from the sound of loud, roaring engines. For me, this is the song of my people, and was quite happy indeed!
It just so happened that the weekend I booked for, the Old Timer Gran Prix was going on, and getting to just hear sounds of engines I grew up with was awesome in of itself!
If you're staying here, you know why you are. That's all I can really say. And if you're going to stay here, I would just very much have to recommend a suite like this.
If you're a race team, you NEED this. I felt bad getting this space that wasn't utilized for the race itself, as it even had input/outputs for team equipment!
The suite had a SAUNA. A.. SAUNA..
I have to say I was blown away by all I got, for the value. Not only that, but the food that was served to us over the weekend was some of the best we had all trip. The from-house Wienerschnitzel was some of the best I've ever encountered!
However, there were a couple negatives, specifically regarding service. Calls for room service were very slow to respond to, or in one case was told they were 'too busy' to handle my request. More than once I had to go down to service things myself because I didn't know how reliable calling would have been.
The food was super on point, I just wish the service was better.
Otherwise, all other aspects of my reservation, and included parking went off without a hitch during this obviously busy time, so I am extremely thankful for that and the communication while making these plans.
If you're a petrolhead, this is where you know you have to go one day as your Mecca. If you do it, do it right, and this is very much the place to stay! Just plan well in advance!
So overall, it's a 4/5, and still quite a great place to stay. Also, extremely secure parking!
