I reserved this guest house to allow our family to see the new years fireworks display at Victoria harbour due to its close proximity to the trim sha tsui region. In their family room, we stayed for four nights with two double beds. Advantages of the excellent location, which is in the heart of test and adjacent to the mar station, souvenir shops, restaurants, and shopping malls. The fee was lower than most rooms reserved during the busiest holiday period at hkd 425 per night in one of the most expensive cities in the world. To the delight of the kids, the complimentary internet was blazing fast. Cons, the family room was too tiny, clearly not the one in the photos. In actuality, we were assigned to a room at the welcoming guest house. It had a tiny bathroom that measured just 4. It was 3. 5 I was given a spare key when I requested that the aunty at the reception use a microwave. As usual, cramped elevators are the norm anywhere in the mirror mansion, so just be patient. Overall, our stay at Capital Guest House was not particularly awful, we might consider returning if they continue the same low rates.

The rooms are incredibly small, but at least they are clean and the beds appear to be quite clean. In any event, we cannot demand too much, we are not paying 5 star service, and the personnel here is really nice and has a very positive attitude. The wifi in my room was awful and they just gave me another room, for the price I paid, I love it here. I have stayed in other places around here, but I think this one is very clean and possibly the best.
