Booked through hotels.com for three nights. As a solo traveler I booked a King room and the size was perfectly adequate.
Check-In / Desk: About 90% of the time I went by the very small check-in desk, two staff members were there and at least one of the two spoke English. A couple of times I stopped by with a question and, as I do not speak Cantonese and the lone staff person did not speak English, there was a total communication breakdown. Even in those situations and others, staff was pleasant. Initial check-in went as expected and took only a few minutes. Checkout was also relatively easy.
Common Spaces: The only ones are the lobby, elevators, and short hallways on each floor. All very clean and quiet.
Room / Amenities: There are only 2 rooms per floor, but unfortunately they share a common wall; luckily, the family next door to me was fairly quiet. The room was uncarpeted and spotless. The windows took up most of one wall. Amenities: TV with remote, in-room safe, electric kettle, mini-fridge, easy-to-operate aircon, stand-up shower with shower gel and shampoo dispensers, shrink-wrapped slippers, toothbrush kit, hair dryer, hand soap. Shower water was nice and hot, with adjustable-height, removable nozzle. Would have been nice to have an iron.
Luggage storage is available (free if picking up same-day; small fee for overnight / multiple nights).
Bed: The King bed is two mattress connected with a topper; even with the topper the bed is quite firm. It was comfortable enough for my taste, however.
Location: The location is really convenient -- just one half-block from the A1 entrance of the Sai Ying Pun MTR Station (just two stops on the Blue Line away from the Hong Kong/Central Station). There is a small grocery store 1/2-block away, across from the Ramada hotel, and a larger grocery store is about 3 blocks away, in the same direction as (and beyond) the MTR station. Also, as a relatively fast walker without luggage, I made it to the Macau Ferry Terminal in 10-15 minutes. It's a 15-minute walk to the Man Mo Temple, which is also the closest Big Bus Hong Kong stop; along the way to the temple, there are several Western cafés and restaurants.
Getting There: From HKG, hop on the Airport Express train and get off at Central / Hong Kong. From there, there are three options: (1) switch over to the MTR Blue Line (additional fare required), go two stops to Sai Ying Pun, and walk about 200 ft from the A1 exit; (2) switch to the complimentary Airport Express Shuttle Bus Service (Route H2), get off at Stop 4 (the Ramada Hong Kong Harbour View) and walk 50 ft; (3) take the Vigor bus shuttle (with this option, say that you are going to the Ramada Hong Kong Harbour View, from which it's a 50 ft downhill walk; if you tell the desk at HKG that you're going to the WE Hotel, they'll simply say that they don't serve this hotel).
