Grand Mumtaz- Room no.126 Stay for tonight in Pahalgam. Beautiful property but the service is pathetic. AC is not working from last 4 hours and after so many complaints nothing sorted out yet. No kne responded to solve the problem and have excuses every time. We haven't enjoy anything just to resolve the issue. Waited so long for the food order too. @grand_mumtaz_pahalgam #grandmumtazresorts

These people are cheaters. They committed to full refund while doing a direct booking. Because of bad weather all flights were cancelled and I could not reach. I am yet to get a single rupee of refund. Please dont book with them.

We stayed at Grand Mumtaz now converted to Radisson in mid July as a group of 9 friends and family. The property is really a lovely place, surrounded by trees, with beautiful views of the golf course and the gushing sound of the river. The only drawback of the property is that there are too many monkeys. The new updates and renovation are very good but the stars of our trip have to be all the staff. Everyone from Sandip, Gautam, Nazir, Simran, Ashish and Shishupal gave us a big welcome and took care of us with a lot of enthusiasm. They made our stay a very special and memorable one.

I m staying here at the property but couldn't stop myself from written this review. To start with , at the time of booking me n my travel agent aadi from MMJ TRAVELS SRINAGAR, were misguided that this is a Raddison property but its neither Raddison nor Grand mumtaz. The staff is really pathetic who dont take their client seriously , we booked 2 rooms for us and my children at this property from 6-8 july. We were actually given 2 rooms on 2 different floors at 2 different ends and my kids are totally away from me. Also the rooms are so small with no working station, no fridge , no safety locker and no racks in bathing area to even put soap while bathing. The views of rooms are horrible either facing their parking or other wings . Also we were promised Deluxe rooms n given a lower category , on asking Mr. Nasir , the answer is superior and deluxe are same category. Then why are they charging us extra for deluxe . On the whole I had lot of expectations from Raddison pehalgam which I was promised but Grand mumtaz could not deliver it and ms.Nazma and Mr.moin at their srinagar office are misleading and cheating people. Guyz dont book this property if you want value for your money , I m still here but stuck as I have already paid them. It's a pathetic property with a special mention about mr.Nasir at front desk who was really stuck for not helping us. NITI CHADHA New Delhi.

Room was ok - fair price but finishing can be better. Air-con compressor didn't work so it was mostly functioning like a fan, which normally wouldn't be a concern however we got 2 very warm nights in Pahalgam. The technicians kept trying to tell us that it worked fine but clearly a Daikin air-con doesn't just blow air at 16 degrees temperature setting. As a compensation we were given a free meal. Breakfast was ok, coffee was instant, Nazeer the F&B manager went above and beyond to serve everyone and his intent plus positive vibes were very evident FOH. He remembered everyone's personally requests and covered very well despite the restauranted being understaffed and slow at refilling buffet. If it wasn't for Nazeer, our dining experience wouldn't be pleasant as most of the floor staff didn't seem experienced enough to handle more than 3-4 requests. Reception staff had good polite mannerism, however the Ops team needed multiple reminders for small things. TV channels didn't work, AC was faulty and we had to request for a fan 3-4 times. Adil was helpful but he looked exhausted as he clearly worked all day long. Every time we went to reception he was there and gave good assistance. The hotel was busy and should have had more persons. Adil did our check-in, and showed us the rooms too. Property is good, location is very nice with peaceful surroundings and good hilltop views of Pahalgam downtown and river. With some improvements this hotel can be great. Having been taken over by Radisson, we hope that such improvements will come through fast. Big thanks to Nazeer and Adil for their effort and intent in doing the best for the guests. Please don't send guests to Chandanwari or Betab Valley - both useless spots with nothing to see, at least in summer with Chandanwari closed by the army and Betab valley oversaturated with crowd leading to longlasting traffic jams. Visit only the sites in Aru Valley. Aru Valley prices are misleading, please haggle to not be overcharged by the union.
