Summary: This is not a 5star hotel, not even close, at best it's a dingy, dirty 3star. The bathroom fixtures are rusting, the towels yellowing, the corridor lighting fixtures work intermittently and the carpets are so badly stained they should have been changed 3 years ago. The air conditioning barely works in the rooms and the elevators and elevator lobbies are not air conditioned at all. There is no green space in the hotel, the pool is tiny and the pictures of everything online are so misleading that it's not even funny. Cleanliness seems to be more of a guideline than a rule, the ledges outside room windows are so full of bird poop, it looks like a toilet. The only redeeming feature of this place is the restaurant which serves good food, but even here the service needs a major upgrade, waiters are haphazardly dressed with some in uniform, others picking and choosing what they want to wear. Lastly, they don't seem interested in serving customers at all. In the middle of the Delhi summers, I was foolish enough to ask if they have anything cold to drink at breakfast and was met with a rude response, "no the breakfast only includes hot tea and coffee". I told them I'm happy to pay but can you please tell me what's available. The response to this was a death stare from the waiter and an even more rude "what do you want". If this is the last hotel left on earth, I will avoid it. Pathetic experience, I will never return. Shifted to ITC Maurya as soon as I could, same prices and 100 times better experience.
