We stayed here because it was close to the airport (despite the address implying it's in Abepura, it's only a 5 minute drive from the airport). We had stayed in another hotel prior to our trip to Wamena which was nowhere near as good (New Season). Comfortable bed, clean room, hot water shower, aircon (but we were helpfully warned that it would be fan if there was a powercut which there often is). So much better than everywhere else we'd stayed on Papua and it was cheaper too (250,000 for the night). Owner's girlfriend (Greya?) had good English and offered to drop us at the airport in the morning free of charge. It might be worth contacting to arrange an airport pick up too to avoid the high taxi prices.
Only thing that let the place down a little was the breakfast. Bread but no toaster. Nut-based things to put on it but nothing else.
They are building 3 nice-looking wooden bungalows out back too.
We took public taxis (bemos) into Jayapura for dinner to kill time. Just stand by the side of the road and flag one down, ride it til it stops then pay (4000 - 7000 pp per ride) then flag doen the next. You need 4: hotel - Waena - Abepura - Entrop - Jayapura. Destinations are written on the side. Takes about 90 mins so it's an option for going to the Polres for your surat jalan if you've got time. If you only want some dinner, Abepura would do the job - looks like several nice restaurants/cafes plus KFC and pizza hut.
