I love this little place! The rooms are quaint and all that I needed to spend nearly two weeks here. A short 5 minute walk to the centre of Ubud The staff are amazing and can’t seem to do enough for you. I will return.

As always in Indonesia is the service, helpful and nice people. They help us to rent a car calling to local companies. The bungalow was nice and clean, we could listen to the insects and animals outside, it was like sleep in open air but inside o a big and warm bed. Breakfast was also included at the time wished and the brought yo the bungalows terrace.

Literally everything we booked for was a lie. Every point that we used to make our boioking decision was a fallacy. We had been travelling for 6 weeks and thought we'd splurge on a spacious bungalow from which we could work in peace and quiet. It was expensive, but as the room was listed (and still is, on 25th March 2018) listed as being 90m2, this seemed OK. Upon our arrival, despite being promised a fully furnished bungalow, we got a small 9m2 hut! Inside the room was only a small bench, a bed and 2 tiny bedside tables. Everything was very squashed up and we couldn't both walk around at once and we had nowhere to put our backpacks but on the bench. NONE of the things we thought we paid for were there even though they were listed in the advert. The room was AND STILL IS (25/3/18) advertised as having the following included: Soundproofing (not provided. In fact, its a thin wooden wall with holes and gaps between the planks and around the doors which are up to 1 inch wide. And our bungalow was only 2 or 3 metres from a pool, so very noisy). The roof doesn't even meet the walls. Bathrobes (not provided), Safety deposit box (not provided), A desk (we needed this to work. It was not provided), Toiletries (2 small very cheap hotel soaps were thrown in on day 2), dressing room (not provided, it was a tiny hut), A dining area (not provided. There was a coffee table on the small veranda which was barely big enough to eat off), Wardrobe (not provided), Koi pond (there were some fish around other huts but the one in front of ours was broken and empty). Baby safety gates (not provided. We have no kids, but if you do, please be aware the front door is only a few metres from the pool) The pool is dirty with cracked tikles. It is classed as an infinity pool but this seems a little pointless given that it has 2 concrete walls around it. The rooms are lit only by 4 small LED lights, one in each corner. Even in daytime it is too dark to see and find your stuff. We were supposed to get water delivered every day but this didn't always happen. We asked the staff NOT to keep going into out rooms because 1) we had no safety deosit box and 2) they couldn't stop messing our stuff up. They would go through our clothes (which I'd put in specific piles e.g. clean, dirty, for flying home, etc) and mix up laundry with clean stuff, and my stuff with my boyfriends. I literally asked daily for them NOT to go in there and yet every day they apologised but then did it again, creating more work for us to fox this in a cramped and dark environment. The staff also left paper rubbish etc in the room but took my glass bottles (which were actually NOT trash) away!!! I didn't say they could have these bottles and they did not ask before taking them. Also, every night they went into the room and put all the lights on. As the room isn;t sealed and has holes in the walls, this attracts a lot of insects. We asked them several times not to do this, but they carried on regardless. The breakfast was nothing like the one shown in the pictures. Worse, on day 2, I didn't eat breakfast but my boyfriend did. He also ate my omlette and was very sick. This was the only food we didn't share, so his food poisoning had to have come from this. I reported all of this to Booking.com as well as sending many pictures but got no support at all. They have not amended the advert despite us being home for a week. Overall, this is advertised using false claims and poroducts that aren't included or even on site. Perhaps the manager of the hotel is lying, or maybe he has bad English and doesn't understand but booking.com are promoting this place and doing nothing to ensure they are accurately selling the rooms. Shocking. Also, despite me clicking the worst possible rating on each option Booking.com STILL calculate this as 2.5 - I said I hated everything. This shows they fiddle their ratings also.

We stayed here for 4 nights Delightful little place, really nice friendly staff. The accommodations are quite close to each other so if you’re looking for a really private or quiet place this may not be right That said we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would return in a heartbeat It’s close enough to the Main Street and several really great warungs but far enough away that you don’t hear the traffic We were out exploring most of every day The pool was a welcome sight every day when we returned Very kind and helpful staff and the price can’t be beat Two thumbs up for joglo tamansari

This hotel is really charming and beautiful - the bungalows are very cosy and cute and the gardens and pool are well looked after, which makes for a really lovely stay. We loved sitting outside our bungalow and enjoying the view and looking at the little fish in the moat around the huts. It might appear a bit off the beaten track when you first arrive, but we found it was the perfect distance away from the noise of central Ubud. It’s a 7-10min walk down to the main road, but there are people and houses all the way down and it is very safe. There were one or two slightly issues with the room (the hot water was playing up when we first arrived and we had a little blackout on the last night) but the staff are very attentive and were so helpful both times - when there was a blackout they lit us lots of candles for our room and were very apologetic and it was fixed quickly. This hotel isn’t perfect but it was definitely worth it for the beautiful, peaceful setting and friendly staff.
