Kubu Kedungu Villa

Letak Kubu Kedungu yang agak jauh dari keramaian, membuat tempat ini sangat istimewa dan cocok sebagai tempat untuk melepas lelah saat liburan. Villa dengan arsitektur sederhana namun indah dilengkapi dg begitu banyak detail yang unik dan berbeda dari pilihan perabot dan tata ruang. Hal - hal yg dapat dirasakan di detik pertama kunjungan adalah suhu ruangan yg sempurna, bunga dan pepohonan yg indah dan sejuk dimata, kolam renang dg air garam yang sangat nyaman. Dan yang paling penting, selama kunjungan saya tidak diganggu satupun nyamuk.. Perpaduan detail yang sangat memuaskan. Suasana pedesaan sangat lekat, villa dikelilingi sawah dengan hijaunya padi yang memanjakan mata di pagi hari saat bangun. Hijau ladang dan pepohonan dg udara sejuk dan semilir angin menjadikan suasana villa ini menentramkan hati dan pikiran. Hanya 1menit dari villa - terhampar indah Pantai Kedungu dengan pemandangan menakjubkan, yang juga dapat ditempuh dengan berjalan kaki atau bersepeda. Secara keseluruhan, villa ini merupakan pilihan bijak dan pintar untuk menghabiskan liburan yang nyaman dan berkesan di Bali.

We booked this villa for 4 nights for 7 people based on good reviews in March for mid August, peak season. 16 days before arrival once early payment has been made (payment didn't have to be made until the day before) we are sent an email of messages containing the request for twin beds which in the middle says "your accommodation has been refused as we are refurbishing all villas from 20th -30th August! Based on this and the fact this occured literally weeks before going I do not recommend this villa! The stress this has caused in finding and agreeing somewhere new in the party has been immense as organiser! I think the new villa will be more ideal for its location and will review it after, good or bad.

We came to Kubu Kedungu after being on Lombok when there was the big earthquake of august 5th. We were tired and stressed out but after coming to Kubu Kedungu we could relax and calm down. We stay in a beautiful villa with a stunning view over ricefields and the see. Good beds, lovely pool and a spacious living area. But the best thing about Kubu Kedungu is the staff. They go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. My son celebrated his 16th birthday here and he will never forget it. They arranged a lovely cake and also an Indonesian treat with yellow rice. All of the staff came to sing for him. When I come back to Bali, I certainly will return here. It is home away from home.

Kubu Kedungu is a beautiful property and a wonderfully relaxing place to stay. We stayed there with our 3 children (aged 7, 4, 1) and the kids loved the space, the pool, the dogs, the staff. Wayan is welcoming and super helpful and can sort out anything you need including scooter rental and car with driver. The villa has 2 bedrooms, both with a bathroom, a large kitchen/dining area and a large tv/lounge room with a balcony looking out over the fields. Breakfast is included and is generous. The villa provides hot and cold filtered water and the kitchen is stocked with crockery and pots and pans so you can self-cater. Alternatively, you can order in, or there are a couple of cafes within walking distance. We arranged a car to take us to the supermarket to get supplies but there is also a mini mart in the little village about 1km from the villa. The surf beach is an easy 15 minute walk. The pool is salt water and is so nice. We were the only people using it during our stay. Staff here are wonderful and even played cards with our older kids! The villa is cleaned daily. It's worth noting that there's not much to do except swim, eat and relax, if you're after a big night out you'd be better staying somewhere else. Recommended!
