I had no choice but to extend my stay. For a better nightly rate, send david an email. Epic, private, quiet, and comfortable surf bungalows. Wonderful friendly and helpful staff who ensure that you are fully fed, and the captain of the bungalows surf boat is always willing to take you out to t-Land. They offer all you need, including scooter rentals.

I have great memories of this place. I was there 1 year ago. The room is simple but tidy and comfortable. Janet and her family are incredibly kind and helpful. Dave is an Aussie who is married to Janet. He is knowledgeable about everything from surfing to fishing to all the nearby islands. The pool should now be finished as the beach is fully finished. They have a restaurant directly across from the surf beach that serves the best cuisine at very cheap prices. I can't wait to return to the top surfing spots. Being around a kilometer away, they have a free boat to take you to the break. They also have bikes to ride, and I believe they are now even paddle boards.

Excellent place to stay for any purpose! We are a group of experienced surfers who frequently leave our wheelchairs, crutches, and hospital appointments behind to surf places we shouldnt. Additionally, while we were out, the bungalows were cleaned daily. The cuisine was excellent! One night, smoked mackerel was served, which was about 4 feet long 1.3 meters long. Maria is an excellent cook! We were pleasantly surprised to find a pig grilled. Every day, the food was always fresh, and there is a bar with a lot of character. Dave arranges motor or push bikes as needed, and it is conveniently located near most of the breaks. Youll find the service to be second to none if you keep in mind that the island is remote. Additionally, the value for money is far superior everywhere else. Dave, the coowner, is always willing to show you all the breaks. Even a couple off the beaten path. Daves boat allows you to explore the other islands as well. After looking around and speaking with others, i believe this is the place to stay when visiting roti. Ill return there!.

Dave is the best. If you want to be looked after by a genuine, allaround nice guy then this is the place for you. Dave is genius when it comes to thinking of all the little touches that make a surf camp amazing. He really made the place beautiful and sustainable plus because it was built using all local materials. We have stayed in many different surf accommodations during our 10-15 year trip to indonesia and this is by far our favorite. The rooms are huge, there is a beautiful little plunge pool, and the food is amazing. The best part for us is the boats that are included in the break. They wait while you surf and you wont be left behind! Dont be persuaded to stay on the beachfront, its quieter and cooler back from the beach and you can be at the beach in 2 minutes anyway if you want.

I had an absolutely fantastic two weeks at lualemba. Situated in a peaceful area with a stunning garden and lots of trees, it offers a serene setting for relaxation, especially by the custom pool, which exudes a natural rock pool vibe. The owners, david and janette, went above and beyond to ensure my comfort, making me feel right at home. The entire team was incredibly friendly and exceptional. The food was delicious and varied, and supper was always a delightful treat. I believe it offers excellent value for money, especially considering that you get a really comfortable ensuite bungalow, three meals, and unlimited access to the surf with their boat. A special thank you to mr. Marco and kun, who took me surfing every day with such enthusiasm and a great attitude. You guys are fantastic!.

A genuine indian experience. The best value for money on a surf trip weve ever experienced. So clean and welldesigned. 6 surfers. We used the step thru scooters with bike racks to meet the boat whenever we wanted to surf. Friendly locals and the happiest village children waving as you pass by. Dave assisted with transportation transfers and was very reliable.

This location is fantastic. Amazing surf camp just a short scooter ride or walk from the surf. Dave and his indonesian wife, jat, have thought of everything and made this camp solely and give it all the traditional touches. The value is great with amazing food thanks to jat and the girls, great bungalows cleaned daily, unlimited surf boats daily. The pool is rad and treated naturally so no chemicals. Also has ping pong etc. Looking at other camps this seems far superior as it has beautiful jungle around it and a great common area, these guys have given attention to detail in every aspect. Dont be put off by the fact that its not right on the beach, its a great value and a beautiful property. Will be back.

I would recommend this place to anyone. This was my first time in Rote and i was grateful to Dave and jenet for having such a great time! The lush gardens and delicious food made it a pleasure to stay, and david is happy to share any knowledge about what to do on the island, when to surf, where to surf, etc.
