Mamatua N. Saleo Villa

The room was spacious despite its first impression from outside. Inside, the room was also clean and comfortable to stay in. It had both AC and fans so you don't have to worry about room temperature during sleeping. I was anticipating mosquito problems, however I didn't have any throughout the stay. Just make sure inside your mosquito net is clear and you will be fine. All water pressure from the taps were very nice. Was staying for a few days with delicious meals included. If there is something that you can't eat, you can simply ask the owners for alternative. They take requests and I really can feel the warm hospitality they provided during the stay.

There are many resort like this in Waisai, but this resort offered better price and facilities. Price for one person per day was Rp. 600.000,- including meals. The cottage was spacious, nice and clean. But many insects and mosquitoes in the rooms were quite disturbing even though they have provided mosquito nets. The dock juts far enough into the sea and there was a good spot for snorkeling. The sunset view here was amazing.

We were looking a place around the area and everything was disappointing and expensive. We decided to go back to the harbour and we found this new place. 400.000 IDR for a new and super clean bungalow with meals included. Bungalows are very nice and clean. The beach was amazing and clean. It has a very large jetty where you can relax day and night. The food was amazing. Very well cooked and good dishes. The family who run the place is very nice. They do all they can in order to make you feel good. Very kind and helpful.
