Such an incredible holiday with an even better accommodation. Pulau boutique Villas is so accomodating to all your needs and wants. Staff is superb and very helpful and friendly. Huge thank you to Dawi and our driver! Overall the villa is superb they see to you, and make you breakfast every morning without charge. Location is great and close to Seminyak. Overall definitely a superb place to stay that.

The staff is so friendly we really felt at home. They took care of all our wishes, cook delicious breakfast and drive us around. Also they use their free time to sit down with us after work and have a chat about life in Bali and a beer. They villa is very clean and super beautiful. Wayan, nyoman, made and komang are awsome and I will definitely come back next year. Also the owner Wayan is super friendly and caring. All of them treat us with so much respect and love. I can highly recommend this place for a nice stay in Bali. On top of that all the places around are easily reached by scooter or Wayan drives you there by car.

Villa Pagi at Pulau Boutique Villas in Umalas bewteen Seminyak and Canggu is a 3 bedroom place to stay with a small pool and a self-catering kitchen. The location is not brilliant as there is not a huge amount on Jl Bumbak other than villas and a couple of restaurants. Villa Pagi was advertised as having breakfast but that turned out only to be for the first morning. After that breakfast was additional which seems to be in order to drive business to the admittedly pretty good Cous Cous restaurant which adjoins the property. What did exist was daily cleaning and occasional pool cleaning. The washing up was done as part of this cleaning. Being fairly remotely located transport is necessary. A local taxi firm is a WhatsApp away and always arrived promptly. The immediate area does not have much except a couple of restaurants. There is also a building site next door and the incessant hammering was annoying throughout daylight hours. The villa itself is not all that attractive. Slate grey is the order of the day, probably quite literally as it appears to have been built using pre-made blocks. However, everything works and the kitchen is a reasonable size as is the fridge freezer. The bedrooms are nice thought the beds are only moderately comfortable. The shower and bath areas are in good condition and drain fairly well. There was quite a good DVD collection. A downside was the number of mosquitoes given the villa has a large open-air space. Repellent and insect spray were refilled as needed. The pool was too small to be of much use. It was also cold as there is no way for the sunlight to warm it up. Airport pickup was offered but didn't turn up. Instead airport drop-off was offered as an alternative. As a Bali villa, this is not the tranquil image of the island given the banging next door and the locals hanging around the front gate. Neither is it located near much of the action so it ends up being just a place to sleep while travelling to the other areas as needed.

The villa is as shown in the pictures, it is beautiful. The staff cannot help enough, they arranged a bike for us at a fair price, let us stay a little longer while we waited for our pickup. To have breakfast made for you in your own villa is amazing. The banana pancakes were delicious. Few restaurants and spa in walking distance. Good value for money.

Villa Pagi has become our 'regular' villa when travelling to Bali. With a young family it's important to feel safe & the 24hr security gives me peace of mind. It's as much about the staff as it is the villa & at Villa Pagi both are excellent. Ayu is the housekeeper & speaks good English & can't do enough for you whether it's buying ingredients for breakfast or ordering a taxi. It's a 20 minute / 50k rph taxi into the heart of Seminyak but has plenty of local restaurants within walking distance. If you want to eat in the villa they have all the utensils you need & you can order a meal with the Go-Jek app on your smart phone or tablet using the villa wifi! Cafe Cous-cous is literally on the doorstep too. We've already booked for Christmas! I hope you enjoy your stay as much as we have!
